What can you say about Carter's other than it fully deserves its Michelin star. Despite its acclaim and awards, it'scosy and not at all stuffy restaurant and alongside the food, the staff are wonderful. We had the six course taster, which also included four small bites to start with, and although we were full come the end of the night, it was really well paced. Difficult to decide on my favourite dish as they were all superb. Not the cheapest of meals but you get what you pay for. Would definitely go back.

Summary: Amazing Food was delicious and the service was top notch. We stayed for 5.5 hours and everything served from the gin and tonic starter to the last drop of coffee and spirits was just awesome. This was a great experience and I would not hesitate a second to visit again. Brad showed us the kitchen as a bonus and you can really see his passion for what he's doing.

Loved it. 6 courses set menu with wine flight. Treated royally throughout. Given information but not patronized. Holly and Brad continuing to do a great job.

Brilliant. All of the staff were friendly, very knowledgeable and gave very clear details about each dish. The menu was very well balanced and combined top quality ingredients with some interesting twists to produce delicious dishes throughout. A lot of thought and skill has gone into this menu.

Wonderful friendly helpful service passionate front-of-house and kitchen service from every single person, thought the food was exceptional when I first ate here some years ago, but the change from a couple of courses with larger portions to smaller portions but lots more of them, has proved a masterstroke, as the concentration of different flavours, textures and quality seems to me to have improved significantly (not that I would know how to improve on a bar that high in the first place), the passion for enhancing the dining experience and growing the culinary palette seems to know no bounds. We're very lucky to have this restaurant within walking distance. Stunning.
