A great hotel when on budget, we managed to get a double room at the weekend with parking for just shy of £40. This Ibis is in a great location if your heading to lakeside or the retail outlets for the day as its about a 5 min drive. The hotel itself is well presented and feels modern, the staff a very welcoming and the rooms are clean.

This is a friendly functional and comfortable no frills hotel. Its big lure for me is are the beds which are some of the most comfortable in the industry. Great showers too. It how a nice bar and restaurant with a reasonable menu. It is on an industrial estate but if you have a car or are happy to walk there is the Lakeside retail area and shopping centre less than a mile away.

Easy to get it. Good price. Free parking space. The staff is well prepared to help you, polite and nice. The room where we slept was simple but very clean. It has been just renewed and the toilet is amazingly nice (the shower is huge). The only problem we got is with the heating system: (some instructions would be appreciated) it never goes out and sometimes is blowing hot air and sometimes cold air. Very annoying. At the end we turned it off completely to get some sleep. We did not have breakfast so I can't give an opinion.

Location of the hotel is amazing as you're only a 5 minute drive from the mall and retail parks which have every possible shop/restaurant you can think of. If you haven't got a car it's a little bit more tricky but a cab will take you to anywhere in less than 5 minutes. Room was amazing. Spacious, very clean and the shower was very big. Service was great as it was a 24 hour reception. This is the second time I've stayed here and both times have been absolutely fantastic

I've stayed here several times and it's always been good, but this time there were a few issues. First, the hotel ran out of shower gel. It hadn't been delivered. Luckily I had a small shower gel in my suitcase from some other business trip. They also seemed to be out of the little plastic drinking cups in the bathrooms. Not a big deal - I just used my coffee mug. Second problem was the shower wasn't working properly in my room. But they immediately sorted me another room conveniently located on the same floor so it wasn't too big a deal. I think these were just glitches and I'm sure they will be sorted. It's a typical newish Ibis with one of the pod bathrooms. Very comfortable mattress. Decent breakfast and lovely, friendly, helpful staff.
