Brilliant beer tasting session with food. Very special place slightly off the main stream track but you can have a much more comprehensive tour of Belgian beer than Bermondsey beer mile without a doubt! Check this place out
Went here for a beer tasting with food and a brewery visit. The owner told us about the history of beer, how it's made and the different types of beers there are. I got quite merry and the guy was incredibly knowledgeable in what he was telling us. I highly recommend this place
Lovely country pub vibe. Food is great and not too fancy, which is nice given the gentrification of the area. They brew a pale ale in the basement and it's pretty damn tasty. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about what they sell both beers and food. They also do food and beer tastings; 6 beers and 3 food courses for £60 for 2, which is a pretty good deal
Easily one of the best pubs in London!! Clean, upscale and amazingly good food, staff and management. The menu changes everyday and the drink selection is impeccable. The prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend that if you are in London you go here and grab a bite, you will never be disappointed.
Visited whilst in the area. Small friendly pub, warm and cozy atmosphere. Enjoyed a fantastic Sunday Roast dinner. One of our party had the fish which was a delight and beautifully presented. Deserts were also of an excellent quality. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable experience and would highly recommend.
Very good selection of craft beer. AMAZING food! We were not expecting gourmet dishes when we ordered, but were happily impressed with what came to the table. Flavor and presentation were excellent. Great service.
Just completed a refurb and put in a full kitchen - the food is exceptional! Really well sourced meats and fish, cooked to perfection. The beer selection is also the best in the area, and if you're lucky they even have their own brew on tap or in bottles.
Favourite pub in London. Love the Essex road and there's really something about the ambience of the place that I think is special. Good selection of craft beers and very good food. Has become more of a gastropub in more recent times but still good for a pint. Especially if they have Adams Mosaic.
The food in here is really good and so is the beer selection. They have some good wines too. It's very relaxed and great for an easy evening or Sunday lunch. The prices reflect the quality.
An excellent pub with a great selection of beer, including one they brew downstairs. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere and staff make it a great place to grab a drink and some food! Has an outdoor area and a large projector screen for some sports.
