Great pub with loads of outdoor seating. The staff were really friendly and sat us near a big heater, which was amazing. Clear Covid guidelines, which made us feel safe, but still made for a fun night.
Had a lovely night here a couple of nights ago. Outside table with heaters on either side. Service was prompt - attentive but not pushy. All the Christmas lights are pretty sweet too.
Absolutely fantastic meal. Great work with the balance between COVID guidance and people having a release. Made for a stress free evening. Great indoor and outdoor space. Will definitely be back
Had a great meal and drinks with my partner tonight at Alwyne Castle. Amazing veggie meal options. Super easy to understand Covid rules. They also have heaters with is a added bonus! Would recommend for anyone wanting a cosy and easy night out.
Fantastic food! We ordered the steak pie and fish and chips, both were excellent. The steak pie was the best I’ve had in a pub. Busy, good selection of beer and cider on tap. Big outdoor area. Worth a visit if you are around the area.
I've never had to wait so long for a drink in my life. Service was stunning, everyone was friendly, food was A+, obviously the managers fault. Would give 6 stars if i could
Had a great time here, one of the most professional pubs I’ve been to in terms of COVID safety. Great service from the staff & some really tasty food too!
