We went for the Monday quizvery nice, despite us getting absolutely destroyed by the local competition, the atmosphere was cozy, service was quick and efficient and the host was very friendly! The pub serves two styles of pizza, both have now been Italian-approved. We had beers from the Camden Town Brewery, which were honestly amazing! Being here as tourists, this was BY FAR the best pub we’ve found! As far as we could tell we were the only non-residents, so it was great being able to get away from the crowds of other tourists. 10/10 would be a regular if I lived here
Beautifully kept cask ale in a friendly atmosphere. Proper locals place, but even as a first timer I felt welcomed as though I'd been going for years! Haven't had a chance to eat yet, but I hear the pizzas are top notch.Service: 5/5
A very decent pub in Bloomsbury. Good selection of both real ales and craft beers. Attracts locals and tourists alike; a real positive. Staff are really friendly and help to create a nice environment. Apparently the pizzas are really good, although I admit to having been enticed to Ciao Bella less than 100 metres away! Some excellent pubs nearby but this place does a good job.
We tried a few different pubs and this is definitely one of the better pubs in London! The pub quiz here on Mondays are to recommend. Overall just a nice atmosphereFood: 5/5
I am disappointed today as I was happily sitting supping my beer awaiting my family to arrive to celebrate my 65th Birthday to find me sitting outside in the rain, I told them a lady asked me to get off my seat as she had booked this table at 5 pm which was 17 25 when she said that, I of course happily got off the table and sat outside. When my family arrived we looked in at 17:35 to find she had no guests there, so we went to the Lamb Pub opposite where they have no table restrictions. I live in Great Ormond Street just 4 doors down and we all will not be using this pub ever again with such rules that clients who book tables don't even turn up to on the allotted time slot and push paying customers out. Parking: Parking available
This is the best pub in the area, I have been going regularly for two reasons: the staff especially Maya are super friendly and nice, they host really fun events, which gives the place a lovely atmosphere all the time even during the week and also the pizza is 10/10.
Ordered a bloody mary. Barmaid gave me worcester sauce and tabasco bottles after pouring vodka and tomato juice into glass. I was meant to mix the drink myself. She refused to stir contents after I added them to my glass!. I have never been subjected to such unprofessional service in my llfe Saturday 22 April 12.40pm
