A Victorian pub in Dalston, London, serving real ale, craft beer and gourmet @SubCultSubs! Regular ale festivals, quiz, comedy & film nights.
THE DUKE OF WELLINGTON
The Duke of Wellington public house has sat on the same site since around 1842. We serve a wide range of real ales, beers, ciders, carefully selected wines and a fantastic spirit selection, while hosting the most exciting and delicious culinary pop-ups.
Over the last few years we have had a wealth of delicious pop-ups operating out of our kitchen, serving food to our lucky customers! Ranging from Italian American street food to Spanish tapas, we have had it all (well, almost all anyway).
Moving on to pastures new we felt it was time for the Duke to take back his kitchen! So from Monday to Saturday, we are serving a delightful brunch menu during the day, then onto a delicious a la carte menu in the evenings, consisting of some classic pub favourites mixed in with some inspirations from menus of years gone by.
But then when it comes to Sunday roasts, we really have that well and truly covered with the much acclaimed Bacchus Sunday team moving in to serve the best darn roasts a Sunday has to offer!
Keep an eye open too for our regular events, including comedy, couch potato pub quizzes, live music, exciting life drawing, classic cocktails, live tv sports and lots more. Our back room is available to hire for your private functions. So if you have a birthday, business event or simply a long-overdue get together with friends then give us a call to discuss your plans. We have high speed wifi and hot beverages available, great for meetings during the day!
