Went to the store in Canley Coventry today to look for a 16mm security chain for my Vespa scooter only had 10mm so I left the store, Three members off staff standing round doing nothing, One says you ok I said yes, Walked a bit further, Next minute, excuse me sir can look in your bag,Backpack that I wear on my scooter,Found nothing, Can I have a look in the front of your bag please, Once again found nothing, First time it has happened to me, Family been using the same store for twenty or thirty years ? I'm fifty three not some teenage junkie, Your staff standing round doing nothing, Felt totally humiliated and a victim of boredom,Safe to say I will not be using Homebase ever again, Switching to B&Q or Wilkinsons from now on.

Massive thanks to the saw machinist who was on duty on 27th of October 2017. He cut 18mm mdf sheets for me very neatly and he was very friendly and genuinely nice chap. Definitely an asset to Homebase and I will be back again ;)

Absolutely disgusted. Homebase have been advertising 6 packs of pansies for £1.00 but the store is only selling them at £2.49. Even todays paper has a Homebase leaflet showing the same offer, and for the last two days they have a chap inside handing out a leaflet .I spoke with someone on the garden section and he said "Oh yeah! We had 3 pallets full on Monday but they all went" . It is SATURDAY and the offer is still being advertised - no mention of whilst stocks last. I am writing to the  Advertising Standards Agency too.

It's not a bad place but it's not great either. Prices are a bit high and stock levels are a bit hit and miss.
