Purchased a sofa in the sale in October. They didn't send off the order until 2 days after I bought the sofa. Was quoted 12th of December delivery latest. (11 weeks from order date) Was lied to by customer services over what date they would receive it in the warehouse. One person telling me the 11th of December another then saying it was always originally due in to the warehouse on the 4th of Jan. And the compensation they offer for being nearly a month late? £39! £39 on a £1200 sofa. Doesn't even cover the delivery charge of £59. Absolute joke of a place. Previous sofa was from DFS. Go anywhere else to get your sofa instead of this lying bunch. Google Harvey's furniture complaints you'll soon see what I mean. Spend your hard earned cash elsewhere because I wish I had.

Ordered a new suite from harveys, the salesman was really helpful and went out of his way to do everything we wanted. They notified me by text message that my suite would be delivered and even let me change the day to suit what would be best for me. On the day of delivery they notified me to say the time they would deliver. Even though we were told they would unpack and assemble and take packing away, that didn't happen, we had to unpack, assemble and take packing away ourselves. We were very impressed with Harveys until the items were delivered then the company were let down by their delivery team but all in all we would return again

Nice place and friendly staff, but once you're about to order something the process of sorting out financing is full of technical issues and some staff members can do with a bit more training.
