Absolutely awful experience. I went in for a couple of small bolts to put a "beware of the dog " plaque on my gates on my drive. Quite a few of the fitments had no bolts/screws in them for want of being filled. Several of them were so high you needed to be about 7 ft in height to see was supposed to be there. The customer service man hadn't got a clue as to whether they had what I had gone in for, even though I had taken a shorter version of the bolt I needed with me. After several minutes of tanoy calling a man came to my aid to say they hadn't got the bolts I was looking for. I had noticed a small wicker drawer set, it was smaller than the ones either side of it that were marked up with a price, so I asked the man who came to my aid earlier, he didn't know the price of the unit, so went to customer service to check the price, but he couldn't find it and he just said "sorry don't know the price" I couldn't believe he was just leaving it at that, I said that he was just turning away a potential customer, and I commented to the effect that no wonder the company is always being taken over and left the premises.

Not a great experience. Aisles were packed with dump stacks. Hard to move round with a push chair. Cherry (pricing lady)was very pleasant and helpful and showed an interest in our wallpaper selection. Store visited cannock.

Click and Reserve is a waste of time. The Homebase website showed available stock of Flymo replacement blades in the Cannock store. Having reserved one and received a confirmation email we went into the store only for the staff to exercise a number of excuses: 1) item isn't in stock (tell your website that) 2) another customer must have bought it (makes a mockery of reserving it eh?) 3) no one can [be bothered to] find it Not impressed by this particular experience, wasted petrol too!
