We chose Hillyards, after meeting with several other estate agents, as the estate agent to deal with my late mother's property. We immediately felt at ease with their knowledge and approach to selling our house. They made the process so much easier than I anticipated and communicated with us every step of the way. As a small local business they know the local area well, which adds an extra personal level when dealing with the local housing market. Martin and his team were always on hand to answer any questions and we felt safe in their hands. Our house sold to the first viewer on the first day and the rest of the process was easy. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Hillyards if you are looking to buy or sell a property.
I’ve just bought my new home and Terry of Hillyards and the team have been fantastic. From viewing the property to moving in took just five and half weeks. Hillyards we’re the Estate Agents handling the sale. They were all friendly, knowledgeable and always available to answer questions. Martin made purchasing our house an absolute dream. I'm pretty certain he is the hardest working agent in Bucks. He constantly went above and beyond for us and supported us through every step of the journey. When I gave Martin a list of requirements, that our 'dream' house would have, i never in a million years thought he'd match us with our perfect property without having to make any compromises. They sold my house in a week for more than the list price and were really fair with their commission. Went to Hillyards for a quick sale and because I didn't want to be locked into a 10 months contract on Purplebricks where I would still have to pay even if they didn't sell it. Proper local knowledge and clearly backed up by years of experience. Knew when I was being fed nonsense by people who were overvaluing in the hope of winning my business and people who were undervaluing for a quick sale. Cannot recommend enough.
Terry and the team have been by far the best team of agents I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Selling our late mother and father's house was a difficult time for us but the guys were not only extremely helpful and responsive, but also empathetic and understanding to our situation. The day we called hillyards, Tom was efficient and instantly made a plan for the best way to see a once beautiful, period family home but needed ALOT of renovation, love and attention. The house was sold within 3 days! The team are extremely knowledgeable, professional and dynamic. Terry has supported us personally throughout the process and has worked tirelessly with some 'not so. Without the help of Hillyards particularly, Jayne, my family and I would not have had a place to even spend Christmas out of the extreme conditions of the outdoors. I have a 16month old baby and staying in a hotel for more the 17days was not ideal. Jayne did everything she possibly could to get us a home. Hillyards puts their customers' needs first, always there to answer your calls and help solve every problem you encounter. They truly deserve a 5star. Thank you Jayne
