Incredibly helpful (and patient!) sales staff. Just want to point out that there were two salesmen involved - initially it was Nicholas who did the initial test-drives, demos and order (but I think he has now moved on), and after that it was Rob who did the very thorough set-up and handover when my mother collected her new car. Also there is another chap who has been very helpful, I think his name is Kevin... Many thanks to all of you! My elderly mother has just purchased another Golf SV from Heritage W-S-M (this time a Petrol Automatic - previously she had a Diesel Manual) and she must have had at least 5 test drives whilst she made her mind up about which options she wanted (eg in-built Sat-Nav vs connected to Google Maps on her phone, Park Assist, Winter Pack, Cruise Control). She got a good deal on the part-exchange of her old car, as well as a meaningful discount on the official list price of the new car. Heritage kept her in the loop regarding delivery dates whilst the new car was going through the build process. Her new car was prepped exactly to her specifications (eg radio pre-sets, engine mode set to Economy) and the handover process was detailed and thorough, eg a thorough demo drive and the salesman (Rob) took her through all of the options (especially the new gadgets that weren't options on her old car). Rob also helped my mother move all of the clobber from her old car into her new car (including the dog seat covers). After-sales service (even though she has only had the car a week) has been thoughtful (and much appreciated by her children) as Heritage have called her to check that all is ok, and have patiently answered any questions she has had about her new car (and they dropped off at her home, stuff she had accidentally left in her old car, eg hidden under the seat!). Heritage (Rob) have also told her to not be shy, and to come back to them for advice, if she has forgotten how to use any of the functionality on her new car. Good service goes a long way, and therefore my mother recommended to some of her friends that they try out Heritage if they are looking to buy a car... as a result of this recommendation, two of these friends have already purchased nearly-new VW's from Heritage whilst mother was waiting for her new car to be built at the factory.

Rob was really helpful in giving me a rough idea as to what the financing would be as I’ve never owned a brand new car, and the test drive route he had chosen wasn’t half bad either.

UPDATED** Bought a used Polo from them, on a day I was picking it up noticed scratches on bodywork. Took me more than 3 weeks to sort it out, have to say they did not do anything until I had posted a review here. 3 stars for three weeks that I spent harassing them seems fair.

Well where can I start. Took my car in the other day for a haldex service via the dealer I bought it from(part of the warranty) and when I collected the car I wanted to ask a few straight forward questions and I was spoken to by one of the team (I use the turn loosely) I was spoken to in such a patronising way like I was stupid, felt really uncomfortable and left feeling like they couldn't care less. I then found when I got home my centre console had minor damage too it I was really upset considering I've only owned the car a week, I have contacted the dealer I bought it from and I'm awaiting a response. I feel my first experience with this dealership will be my last.

Have a screen problem with the Sat nav. Went into Heritage to ask what needed to be done and was told I needed to wait over a week for an appointment and they wanted the car for a day... Today I made, what I understood was a specific time appointment for an Adblue top up only to be told this was not the case and in any case the engineers were on their lunch break. After some 'discussion' the job was carried out.
