I arranged appointment for full head colour and cut and finish with a director, which coasts me around £180,  at 2:30 pm. They let me wait for almost 30 min because the appointments were not scheduled properly! A lady had an appointment for hair cut at the same time as me. What happened is they got a “ regular stylist” to dye and bleach my hair instead of the director. I was there for FOUR HOURS and eventually left with a BRIGHT BRASSY colour  instead of BROWN. They offered a free colour correction but I didn’t go because my hair was so damaged and my scalp almost burned that I couldn’t even brush my hair!!! absolutely bad experience and wouldn’t recommend the salon at all!!!!!

This is the most amazing salon, I wouldn't take any notice of the few poor reviews. The people that have left them are obviously the type that complain about anything. The staff are amazing and the service is impeccable, cannot fault it at all. The surroundings of the salon is absolutely beautiful, if you want your hair to feel a million dollars this is the place to go !!

Had another wonderful pampering session here yesterday. Ann gave me the usual fabulous cut. Walked out feeling on top of the world. Wouldn't go anywhete else. Thanks.

CJ In The City, (Herberts in-house Beauty Salon.)

I had my hair cut & coloured in Herberts salon upstairs and it was fantastic, I loved the staff.  Made me comfortable.  My colour was perfect.  You pay for what you get and I wax reslly, only to happy to pay for a great service.

Having let myself go, as I have been full-on with having family commitments and a new puppy in the family.  I asked the lady who was doing my hair about having my bushy eyebrows done, she said they have a beauty salon downstairs whom does beauty treatments etc.  I thought, great, lets take the bull by the horns and start as we mean to go on!

Unfortunately, the tint & wax was a very big dissapointment and I had to ask her to take more off to balance the brows, as they wher My husband said they looked just as bushy as before with no shape go them!  He called me knitted eyes.  After messaging the salon and the girl that did them, she said call in again and they will re-do them.  But to be honest, if they could not do them properly in the first place then, forget it!  In my estimation they should of been done right in the first instance... Not that I should be having to go back to have corrections done!!

Anyway the tirade I recieved off the Beauty Salon owner was 'unbelievable, unwarranted.'  They ask for comments and feedback so I did, I was fair in my estimation, but the salonmowner was just like a petulant child in her answers to me,  it was just horrible, I could not believe I was speaking to a so-called proff. Salon owner.  I wish I could post her responses on here for you all to see, then you could make your own minds up concerning this Beaty Salon!   

I asked for a refund and was told I was not welcome at the Salon!   So, I asked her to call me on my mobile so we could talk and sort it out.  'I don't think so,'  was her response. 

 I felt like I was dealing with a teenager who was fresh out of college, with no experience of dealing with people, never mind clients!   She was absolutely, rude, obtuse, immature and incredibly childish!   I then threatened to come down to the Beauty Salon and get my £14 and that I would sit there until she gave me my money back and that shd could call the police, but the bad publicity would be on her head, not mine... She left me no other option!   She then proceeded to call me a serial complainer!!  I told her the conversation was concluded and I had no intentikn of entering into her silly, imnature, schoolgirl rants any further.  She said she would leave my refund upstairs in Herberts Salon for me to collect.  Brilliant!  Job done!   Finished with this whole nasty saga!

In my opinikn and estimation.  Keep clear of thjs beaty salon, if they messed-up big time with my brows imagibe if tgey ard doing a mord evasive proceedure on your facial skin, a peel or worse Botox or fillers!  Please be very careful, indeed!!  Take my exampke as a dire warning.   Steer-clear!!
