I have used Heaton Property both as a tenant in the past, and currently as a Landlord and find them very friendly, helpful and efficient to work with. They are extremely on top things, and as a landlord who doesn't live in the area this has made managing my property the smoothest and most stress free it could be. I originally let out my flat with a different letting agents and saw a turnover of 3 tenants in a year, bills for numerous repairs which were never completed, and a complete lack of management in general which not only cost me financially, but also caused me great stress. I moved to having my property let by Heaton Property just under 12 months ago, and have seen Damiano and the Heaton Property team take great interest in not only ensuring that you the property is managed properly, but also that the tenant is having a good experience. As a result, for the first time I have kept the same tenant for longer than the initial 6 month let! I took great care in decorating my property to a home that I love to live in, and so it really pleases me that this translating into a successfully let property with a happy tenant. Thank you for a great year with great peace of mind!

The sort of place that puts their own interests way before those of the tenants.

Lucy rushed me around 2 property viewings after initially demanding we meet at the office not at the property because of “company policy”. Then afterwards, I asked if I could meet the current tenants (because I was looking at a room in a 7 bed shared property!) and I was told no “we can’t arrange that”.

Every other agent and landlord I’ve met has met me at the property if convenient and has put me in touch with current tenants to get to know the people I’m about to live with. If Heaton Property won’t put the customer/potential tenant first even before signing a contract, then I can’t imagine they care about fixing your broken radiator once they’ve locked you in to a contract!!

Direct quote from the manager, "As a someone who rents you mean nothing to me." This is following 11 hours of listening to a central alarm going off in the building and simply asking why the management of the block had failed to provide any information on what to do in this situation. It is so upsetting that tennants who pay rent are treated with no respect or decency. 
I said to the manager "You can not speak to me in this way."
His response- " I can and I will,  just you watch me." He hung up.
This is clearly a really unprofessional service led directly by the manager himself. Please think very carefully before renting a property that is managed by Heaton Property.
to make it clear i do not rent with Heaton Property but you manage my block. The picture of the building is on your website. Therefore you are responsible and are paid for the maintenance of the building. Which also means a proportion of my rent goes to you. So your response is an out right denial and a refusal to acknowledge this conversation took place. What happened was under the remit of Heaton Property to the extent that your name/number is written on the walls of the building/notice board and i was directly instructed to contact you. You cannot have involvement when it suits. I genuinely live with the worry and fear of anything taking place that means your company is involved. I rented a property with Heaton Property for 7.5yrs and have enjoyed every minute.
The property was immaculate and they were there whenever I needed anything.
The service was second to none and I only wished they had had another property for me to move into closer to where I needed to be area wise.

All the staff were great and very professional. Any emergency wa dealth with efficiently and quick.

I have left the property with many updates and looked after it well over the years.

I wish Heaton Property and their team every success and would have no reservation recommending them to use.
