Unprofessional. Lackadaisical. Dire. These are words that come to mind when I think of groves. It took them 10 days to repair a leak in the roof, over 6 weeks to landscape the garden (which was promised that it would be done in a week) and it took over 3 months, yes, 3 months to replace our broken dishwasher. I would seriously avoid them if you can, they have caused me more problems than I have had with any other letting agency.

-updated a few months later to a 2 star, people have been really nice, and everything else has been sorted quickly thus far. Will see how it progresses in the future towards a greater improvement. Only reason it's still a 2 is because it shouldn't take a bad review before they up their game. Cheers

My advice: stay as far away as possible from these guys.
I've rented all over the UK, and Groves Residential is, by far, the worst experience I've had. Never mind the total lack of professionalism throughout this outfit: they are absolutely useless on anything. Expensive for next to no service, eager to fleece you on anything, repeated nagging to get hardly anything done, and when you leave they invent bogus claims to screw you out of your part of your deposit. The 'mydeposit' protection scheme they force you to use is a joke as well, as arbitration always goes against the Tenant. Worst rental agency evar ...

The worst service I have ever received from a business of any variety. VERY unprofessional. All of the staff members were unwelcoming and nasty, there was one member of staff who was pleasant to deal with and even she messed us around. Other members of staff were rude and unpleasant towards us. Avoid this company for sure.

My cleaning company is been working for groves for a year and all the properties are really well maintained and they like to work in a very high standard friendly staff and good location offices the property management team is very efficient and is been good experience working for them .

Spent a year in their tenancy, nothing was ever done. Incredibly rude to my flatmate on the phone. Fire alarms fitted wrong and were to make a charge for a call out. Very unprofessional and a bit of a blunder
