Harveys Furniture Slough

Sofa is lovely, but you don't get told that it is being made in China! Just seen their advertisement and they say that their dofas are hand made in england!. Don't believe it!

All happy and smiles ordering sofa in store which I purchased on 26/12/16 in slough was told will be delivered within 13 weeks which was perfect to surprise parents before there return! Received text 27/2/17 to arrange delivery called and DISSAPOINTMENT was told no idea why i Received the text as the sofas are not even in the depot so I after seeing numerous of reviews how bad they are even staff in store reassuring me that all will be okay I can honestly say I am 100% sure my sofa won't be delivered on time! As I called again today and was told they are in a tank and won't be any delivered by this month and looking at delivery April and I can already tell that won't be the case, I will give Harvey the benefit of the doubt as I was told 13 weeks and written on paper and BTW that does not mean anything! If they are delivered on time I will remove this review but want to give people a heads up really bad once it comes to the delivery of goods!!!!! I have done a Harvey customer review today and hope to get some honest response I will update this post soon as I get some response as I am now not enjoying my experience with Harvey's and it is not the best customer experience for the value and service!

Ordered a sofa. Told 12 weeks and came at 15 weeks!!!!!!! Sent wrong colour!!!!!!!! Now have to wait another 12 weeks for the right colour.

They are horrendous, I have had problems from start and still not finished. I ordered the sofa and was told it would be in delivered on the day I move in. I then had a phone call to say it was damaged and I needed to choose a replacement sofa. Then I get a phone call 2 days later to tell me it's in and definitely going to be delivered on my moving in day. Moving in day comes and there is no sign of the delivery, after multiple calls and lies I get told my sofa wasn't even loaded on the vehicle. So I've moved with nothing to sit on. I then get told my delivery will take place the following week, I take a day off work the service commitments leading up to re. Phone calls etc were not met. So day of delivery arrives and no sofa and not only that the delivery drivers who turn up were so rude and obnoxious honestly were disgusting. I am currently sitting on my sofa in the slough store which I purchased weeks ago that they are refusing to give me. I will never recommend Harvey's to anyone their service is appalling, they lie and logistically have no idea of what happens with their goods
