Such a friendly shop- always worth the extra travel from my local. Margaret at the tills was an absolute gem; she went above and beyond to assist me and just has such great customer service. And a special shoutout to Delroy, who not only helped me carry the playhouse to my car but also went the extra mile by taking it apart and ensuring it fit inside. Thank you!
Attended the slough store this afternoon to purchase a lego set for my son. Decided to surprise my older son with a game. Went to the cash desk and told the cashier that it was a surprise for my son who was inches away from me. The cashier who I now know as Delroy from the receipt went and got the game put it in a box and sellotaped it before handing it to me mentioning eggs...I was confused. Once home my son opened to box to find his new game and 3 chocolate eggs. This was such a lovely gesture. Will definitely shop here again.
Outstanding service. Tried over a period of two days to buy two car seats from Halfords. Both Bracknell and Slough Halfords left me waiting for a least 15mins each time to then tell me they have no staff to serve me. Walked in Smyths met instantly by a very knowledgeable lady, bought 2 cars seats. I recommend them highly, don't shop in other brand shops who don't value you as a customer.
Very nice and had loads of toys. The staff were nice as well.
If you buy, you are a great customer, but if you return, you are treated like a criminal. I waited 15 minutes. based on the decision of 2 managers. finally it was found that it was 10.00 in the morning and they didn't have enough money in the cash register. I came back at 3 p.m. and was told to wait 10 minutes again. the manager hid behind the shelf and gave instructions to the cashier. when he realized that I saw him, he ostentatiously approached and counted the money. judgmental looks from all the employees. I will never buy anything there again.
