The staff was courteous and welcoming. Joe was happy to answer my queries and provided me with information i needed in regards to some furniture. I was delighted for the price I was offered for a set of sofas together with maintenance and delivery.

Very good knowledgable service from Richard. This proved helpful as he was able to guid us to the best and cheaper way to buy our items. He also got back to us the next day as promised which was appreciated.

I purchased my settee Dec 27th, and would have still been waiting today 5th April, if it was not for the efficient services from manager Jason at Orpington branch. ( the stars are for Orpington Manager) All other Harvey were not helpful ( no stars ) . The right hand did not know what the left hand was doing, and to add insult customer services offered £99.36 a compensation for waiting 4 months for settee to be delivered.

Harveys 1. They do not accept cancellation of order even though I have not booked a delivery date yet. I put down 200 deposit to buy a dinning table, before I booked a delivery date, I want to know if I can cancel it or exchange the value to buy other product from them. NO ! 2. Do not expect them to assemble your furniture if you are not say it to their face! They delivered it on time ( lucky me, a lot of review said they did not show up on time), however, left four heavy huge box, taller than me, without assemble it. I phoned up, their excuse is no one ask them to do it and I wasn't there. When I place the order, the sale stuff said they will assemble the furniture. Why I should tell them to do it again? They did not tell me I have to be there, I have other people in the house who showed them the dinning room, which is enough. I ask them to come back to assemble it, they said no. I ask to get part refund, they said no. Can you believe it? Lucky me that my table and chair are good , not demaged. I checked other review. They refuse to replace demaged product! 3. No customer service. Their phone line is so busy, do not expect to get through in 30 minutes. On the phone, I put in my order number which is 83698909c, they can not found any record. so no customer service to me. Do not buy from them!

Bought a leather sofa and armchair from Harveys and after just a year the colour started to come away. Harveys sent an 'independent' engineer round to asses the damage and they said this was wear and tear. I've owned leather sofas before and never had this problem. The colour has now got so bad I'm embarrassed to have people round so after Harveys were on Watchdog I complained again. They sent another 'independent' engineer round and they said I must have used abrasive products to clean it with (which I have not) and will claim no responsibility at all. Avoid this shop at all costs. If anything goes wrong they will not admit any fault.
