Excellent, would recommend.nnI bought fish and large chips on 21 November 2024.nNo pictures as I was starving and really cold so demolished the meal before I thought about taking a picture.nnThe portion of chips was frankly rude and more than I could eat. The fish was a good size and served in a cardboard container which was helpful given I had to walk home in the bitter cold.nnBoth the fish and chips were really fresh and cooked to perfection. Maybe being hungry made a difference but I can honestly say it was a good meal.
Posting review because I found this fish and chip shop on Google search it just so happen to be the closest to the lodge we rented for the week and found the service and the food to be great. So I think it deserves five stars.nJust a note, portion size for chips is quite large, so in hindsight one serving of chips would have been enough for two.
I like fish and chips but it doesn’t always agree with me. This was different however, asked for the fish to be well done, it was cooked to order and the whole family were very happy. We’ll come again - thank you!
Had fish and chips here on Sat. Awful. Usually go to place on sea front as amazing bit queue was too long. Wish we had queued. Fishcake burnt couldn't eat. Husband's fish had hardly any fish and was dry and was £7.50. Waste of £16.
great fish and chips, excellent friendly service. £13 for a medium breaded cod and chips.na picnic bench out the front to eat at would make it even better
