Best fish & chips in Swanage. Perfectly cooked to order, large flaked skinless cod, and chips which are not all like large crisps! which so many shops now seem to serve. And along with great service to match. 10 out of 10 guys.
Called in for a take out lunch and I must say these are the best fish and chips we have had . All cooked fresh to order and I asked for a regular sized portion which was more like a large. Quality and quantity were excellent. Will definitely eat there again when in the area.
Had a lovely day in Swanage the highlight being an excellent takeaway from Wright on the Beach. The chips were excellent, crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle and not greasy at all. The scampi and sausage were cooked beautifully. The service was friendly and efficient. Thank you. Recommended.
We always really enjoy the food from this place. The snack boxes are a perfect size for adults and children and they are very reasonably priced! Brilliant service and all the food is cooked fresh, what more can you ask for?

My biggest concern with any fish and chip shop is how the fish is cut and served. This shop served beautiful portions of Cod and the chips were fried very well. You could tell the oil was fresh. The size of the fish portion was impressive. So often, as customers, we find ourselves falling victim to shops the fillet the fish very lean to maximise margins, and as a result, we customers suffer. Every meal ordered was generous in portion size, clean and crispy. Without hesitation, this little jewel of a chippy will be bookmarked as a winner.
Easily the best fish and chips I've had in all 44 years of my life. Crispy batter, flavoursome haddock, golden well cooked chips with crispy edges. The curry sauce was great too. Very reasonably priced and very generous portions.Food: 5/5
Decent fish and chips right on the sea front with a scenic view and polite service. Couldn't ask for more.
Extremely excellent traditional chippy. Huge portions of freshy cooked fish, large menu, kiddies menu. Guys working behind the counter very helpful and great people to have a laugh and a joke with. This is our go to place in Swanage
