Stopped here, last minute decision. Beautiful sunny courtyard & big too! Ordered lunch which was super fresh & tasty, much better than the average pub. Service was excellent, staff very friendly & accommodating. Fantastic afternoon, we will definitely be back. Thank you.
Enjoyed a fabulous evening meal at this old pub in Swanage. The menu was a lovely mix of traditional pub fair and some very tempting Turkish dishes. The food ordered was of a high quality, cooked well, delicious and of a great quantity. Cost was very fair.nGood choice of beers and cosy seating area inside as well as additional seating outside.nService was very good from very friendly staff.nWould definitely recommed
Visiting friends and they suggested The Red Lion. We weren't disappointed. Great location, great food, friendly staff, a big garden.nThey have rooms available available too, can't remember the lady's name, but she was back and forth cleaning the rooms, very efficient and friendly.nWe will definitely return when we are back.
Lovely pub and friendly staff. Room is great for the price - powerful shower and comfy bed, perfect for a weary hiker over the South Coastal Path. Room renters also get a 10% discount in the main Red Lion pub which is great. Would stay here again!
We had lots of starters to share and they were all equally very good. Ciders too. The very big man behind the bar taking orders was extremely nice and warm
