We wanted a place to eat and the kids insisted on Harry ramsdens. Our food was disgusting. Our battered sausage had white bits in it, Our children's meal had half a normal sized burger inside a miniature roll, our chicken was disgusting and chewy. The only nice thing was the cod but it still wasn't the best. My mum didn't get the meal she asked for. Harry ramsdens may not be the most famous restaurants don't let the sign tempt you in. We won't be going back sorry harry ramsdens. We don't know whether other ones would be better or not but the one in Swanage was the one we are reviewing.

Poor quality of food, expected better of Harry Ramsdens. One of our group who had a pensioners meal couldn't find any fish only a lump of batter. We won't go there again. Service ok but music very loud.

Fantastic restaurant with a very happy atmosphere. The cod & chips were amazing! Not the best battered fish I've eaten but it was a 9 out off 10. The staff were very friendly & swift in thier job. The only downfall was the disabled toilets had no bolt on the door at all as it was broken, so my friend had to stand guard on the toilet so the door didn't fly open! Nice size disabled toilet. Overall a very nice lunch out . Well done all at Swanage Harry Ramsden's.

Disappointing in one meal we asked for chicken and onion rings but we got chewy fat with coleslaw . The toilet was disgusting the kids burger was half a normal burger that was burnt. The battered sausage had yellow stuff in it overall would not come back.

Avoid at all costs. So slow that we had to put more money in car park. Portions are minute and soup was cold. Took 1 hour for chips to be cooked. No milkshakes available. Understaffed
