This is the most amazing barbecue I've ever had. I visit here regularly and always order some combination of meal that includes ribs; I've eaten lots of ribs at lots of restaurants and hangfire get it so right I find I order ribs far less at other restaurants because nothing compares to how awesome they are here. At the moment I am not drinking alcohol or caffeine, so my drink options were limited, but this was completely obscured by how wonderful the food was. On the drinks side, if you like good beer, the selection here is great

Fantastic experience. Parking available outside. Really friendly and energetic staff who were exceptionally welcoming. The pulled pork was incredible! Excellent selection of drinks to accompany the meal. I'll be coming back again.

Really great tasting, well cooked food. I had barbecued brisket on toast, along with a beautifully spiced sausage, with a side of pickle coleslaw and rice (containing spring onion and crispy onions). Everything was cooked to perfection and was just delicious. I'm not a Barry resident, but if I was staying anywhere near Hang Fire again, I would definitely visit again.

Didn't disappoint! I've tried the pop up stall a few times at food festivals etc and I admit I did wonder if the novelty of it all would be a little lost in a permanent premises but boy was I wrong! Food is as impeccable as it has always been and the welcome is twice as warm. Plus I really noticed that unlike many other meat related establishments I didn't leave there smelling like a smoked burger myself - impressive. Menu is meaty as you would expect although there is a token vegetarian choice on the dinner menu that my wife ordered and it looked so delicious I almost wished I'd ordered it myself....almost ☺ I personally can recommend the brisket and burnt ends....delicious. So in short I thoroughly enjoyed my food experience here, the location is perfect and I really hope they continue to flourish.

Really friendly people, amazing food... if you think it could be like TGI's food you are so wrong! The ingredients and creation take it on to a whole higher level. Really keen to go back for one of the live performance evenings. A must do reason when you come to Barry.
