Went on a Sunday morning for breakfast, quite quite, relaxed atmosphere. Staff were very friendly, good service. Food was delicious, great quality food. I had the small Welsh breakfast and my partner had the normal/large Welsh breakfast; wish I went for the large one too!

Lovely atmnosphere, super friendly staff. Coffee and breakfast was so good, the best I've had in a long time. Good value for money. Will definitely be going back.

The first time we went to The Pot we thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was very good offering wholesome, tasty meals and the atmosphere was great. However the last time we went, which was last month, it was very cold and my mother and I kept our coats on until the main course arrived. There didn’t appear to be any form of heating which we feel is totally unacceptable. You cannot rely on a full restaurant to warm up the place! They should also consider getting cushions for the wooden chairs and it’s most uncomfortable . We had the parsnip soup which was delicious and all mains were nicely cooked, which was beef bourguignon, the chicken with mushroom and morello cherry sauce and the lamb. My other criticism was the desert. The size of the portion was ridiculously small which was presented on a very large plate. We are not greedy people but this was not an acceptable size for the price and it left you with the impression that they are just being plane mean! Would I go there again? May be, but wouldn’t be in a hurry and definitely not in the winter unless they warm the place up.

Oh wow!! What a beautiful restaurant, I felt like I was in Paris. Such friendly and lovely staff and the food was incredible! The best baked Camembert I've ever had, and the lamb was just perfect! I would highly recommend The Pot! Just fantastic! Thank you for such a fab evening.
