Story

At Brewers Fayre we've thought of everything. Great value, great food, great family friendly atmosphere; we've got the lot. Our menu is packed full of family favourites all freshly prepared by our trained Chefs. Barry Island was newly built in Autumn 2012 & today we are a modern restaurant with a slightly art deco feel. Overlooking the waterfront, we are just a short walk from Barry Island Beach, the steam railway & Barry Island Pleasure Park, & not far from Cardiff Airport & Porthkerry Park. Our tasty pub food, served up in generous portions by our friendly team, is great value & worth coming back for time & time again!

Have been here a couple of times, Carl and the staff are the most polite in Cardiff and food is good, especially for the price. We will definitely be returning many times.nOne thing that would make the experience better would be if some rude families were asked to contain their children and behave with some fundamental decency, as last time we visited the family next to us had their kids running around in their socks and crawling on the floor, which is not appropriate for a restaurant.
Well we visited here a few times whilst staying at the premier inn Barry island next door. Food is lovely and very reasonablly priced. Before 6pm daily meals are £6 and deserts £2.99 each, bargain, as a wheelchair user this place is level access and there is plenty of space to turn around inside. Although this place can get busy service is brilliant. Bookings for tables may be reccomended here.
Me and my mother were staying in the Premier Inn next door for my 25th birthday.nWe had booked in for a meal deal with the Premier Inn which we found to be of incredibly good value. It included breakfast, a 2 course evening meal and a drink for an incredibly good price. Almost all of the regular menu was available in this deal.nDuring the evening meal, the manager Carl and his team gave us incredibly good service and was very friendly. They did everything they could to make my birthday feel special.nThe food was prepared timely and of excellent quality. I would particularly recommend trying their steak since it was cooked to perfection.nFor breakfast the next morning, there was a wide array of choices. Once again, the food was of excellent quality.nI would highly recommend visiting this place if you're in Barry Island. Especially if you're staying with the Premier Inn and you are offered the meal deal with your stay
Not my usual choice but not fussy either so decided to give it a go last minute.nService was outstanding.nIn particular didn’t get his name but the duty manager, tall guy with glasses.nHis good morning made us feel welcome immediately, he was attentive and really friendly.nService makes the experience for me, food was cheap and cheerful, nothing to write home about but hit the spot for the price.nWill definitely consider going again, because of the service.
Well as Brewers Fayre’s go this one was a delight . We were staying in the Premier Inn next door and popped in for lunch - it was fairly busy but with a £5 lunch offer I’m not surprised. We ordered the gammon and fish and chips - expecting to receive a smaller portion for that price. The food arrived and it was a more than plentiful portion - set us up for the day! Service was good - take a table then order at the bar .
