Our first visit here. The staff were helpful and explained the menu. The food was great and reasonably priced, the atmosphere lively with a friendly feel. I would certainly visit again.

I went there during my weekend in Cardiff. Staff is friendly and polite, might be also a mind reading (as they asked always the right questions and came up with suggestions which I loved). Food was hot. I liked it. I truly enjoyed my experience there. Decor is great as well. I love the variety of choices for vegan and vegetarian guests. Thank you for making my evening amazing.

Love it when its quiet as its very cramped when its busy. Havnt tried the other ones yet so that will be my next mission.

The decor here really stands out. A lot of Indian restaurants play it safe with white table cloths and a sanitary aesthetic to match. Chai Street decides to welcome you into India with wooden tables, incandescent-style bulbs, Bollywood posters anywhere your eyes look, and the music to suit! The food was pretty awesome, we got the Special Thali and the Indian Lemonade. Can't say enough good about the lemonade - great tanginess and sweetness. The Thali is a dish which comes with four different curries, rice, naan, and a potato samosa. An awesome idea when you can't decide on which curry to commit to.
