A hidden gem in the heart of Hammersmith. I got a chance to visit this park and marvelled at the Japanese garden not similar to that in Holland Park because of the small size but equipped with enough to keep you busy while you enjoy nature. Close to Shepherds Bush, White City and Wood Lane it means it’s easily accessible. I loved that it is quiet though there’s plenty for the children to do you can also enjoy a nice picnic or sit around and chill. Playground: A green hill that the children use as a side.
Hammersmith park is a junior sibling of nearby Holland park: it also features a Japanese garden, tennis courts and is dog-friendly, but everything is smaller and not quite as posh as in Holland park. Plenty of benches to make it a nice lunchtime spot when the weather is nice.
Lovely Japanese garden adjacent to the BBC. Saw the beautiful cherry blossom tree in bloom.
My favourite local park. It does get busy sometimes, and people dont follow rules regarding dogs. But it's a beautiful park, that I never get bored of visiting or walking through.
Hammersmith Park or BBC PARK as it is known to locals, is a beautiful park. Not only has a bridge in its tranquil Japanese Garden, but also an abundance of friendly squirrels you can feed. Lots of space to have a picnic, with Tennis courts & Basketball court. And also a play area for children, with a TELE TUBBIES type HILL for children. A wonderful place for FAMILIES.
Good standard local park never too crowded. Concrete tennis courts and hoops. Football pitches for hire. The park has well managed Japanese themed gardens. #tennis #football #swings #climbingframe #Japanesegarden #roses
Went for the Japanese festival. Nice event, relaxing park. Also has a basketball court of great quality.
These little Japanese gardens have been my sanctuary during most difficult past few years of my life . Beautifully kept , such pride and care by the gardeners. A shame true odd few drinks litter so much. Sponsored by the Japan Society who hold an annual Japan Day event there
Nice little park could do with regular cleaning
A beautiful park, lovely walk, great for kids
