Bishop's Park, home to Fulham Palace with its filled walled-garden and historic tales, and lovely riverside paths and trails. Far too many off-lead dogs for my liking but lots of different spaces and a very nice space. When I lived in Fulham I was very close to here and this park was a dream. Playground: There's a very popular playground. Restrooms: They're avaliable by the main entrance only. Dog-friendliness: TOO dog friendly. They're everywhere. Picnic area: Lots of riverside benches and open areas to sit and picnic
An amazing place to workout with great view to the river Thames, the place is just very lively, plenty of people walking their dogs, running, skateboarding or simply reading a book. If you go there and run out of water there’s a newly installed water drinking fountain Playground: Suitable for kids to play and enjoy a great day out Restrooms: Always very clean and to be honest I never expected a toilet at a park to be as well looked after as this one Dog-friendliness: There’s also a place to let your dogs play, as well as being able to walk and run freely with your dogs across the whole area ark Picnic area: plenty and right there you can see the Fulham Palace which is full of history with also a great area for picnic
Beautiful place when it’s sunny. My friends and I spent several days there making a short film and it really was a wonderful spot to relax and just enjoy the sun and read.
Excellent facilities for children. Well designed the water park is next to the sand bit. Ideal if you have more then one child you can see them easily. Excellent skate board park and playground for children of all ages. Lovely cafe situated near all the facilities. Great day out for children and adults.
I went with my husband and a friend. We enjoyed the park and appreciated its proximity to the river. We liked the memorial to the people of Hammersmith and Fulham who fought in the Spanish Civil War. The cafe is very nice.
Not my favourite park in LDN as it’s quite overgrown and a little run down in places. If you’re passing it’s worth checking out as aspects of it are certainly nice and the river walk offers a welcome breeze on hot muggy days. It’s a good place for children and dogs.
Came across this lovely park as I was walking along the Thames path today. It's such a pretty place with lots of space to relax or play. There are a lot of different areas, one of which is a nice rose garden. There is also a lovely fountain in the middle of the park. There's a playground, toilets and a cafe.
We had a lovely time at Bishops Park. There's something for everyone: great playgrounds for children of all ages, a skate park, excellent trails for bike riding or dog walking, a pond with a bridge, fountain and a nearby gazebo, a sandpit with water sprinklers in warmer months, green open spaces for picnics or sports, a cafe, toilet and drinking water facilities and an out door gym! It's also right by the river! There is also Fulham Palace on site and All Saints church, both rich in history!
Lovely park with beautiful grassland, plenty of trees, a very nice teahouse, and a fantastic walkway by the riverside with those big branches reaching out as if trees are trying to touch the water... and maybe they are! : Highly recommended & absolutely worth the visit Playground: also a playground can be found there with nice climbing constructions and a slide next to it Picnic area: With plenty of places to choose and enjoy a picnic sitting on the grass by the trees or in the middle of the grassland and/or near the pond with the water running from the lovely fountain
Visited the meadows and park today. First visit to this Park near Putmey Bridge on a lovely sunny day. The path along the river is having maintenance work done on part of the pathway keep walking & you can access the other end. The meadow needs work done to repair the grass. The other areas are very nice with lots of benches to sit down & relax. Great play areas for children
