The park is fantastic, offering a variety of amenities including tennis courts, a children's play area, walking paths, a water play zone, picnic tables, and a sandy area with rides. The kids had a wonderful time. One downside was the difficulty in finding a place to sit due to the high number of families with multiple children. While I understand the desire for families to spend time together, it might be beneficial to consider implementing some sort of restriction, such as limiting the number of children per group, to ensure a more enjoyable experience for all park visitors.
This park is great! So much to keep children busy on a hot day and to cool down. The splash pad is great but it can get pretty busy, understandably, but it is still very much enjoyable. There are toilets and changing rooms here. The sand covered playground has a pirate ship and some cool giant fossils for children to dig and find. There are other bits to play on too. There is another playground right next to it for the older children, it is really cool that they have hopscotch numbers in various languages and an area for learning alphabet sign language! In this particular area of the park there is a water refill station which is handy for hydration. Upon the entrance to the park there is a large grassy area perfect for a picnic or some ball games etc. The best part...its free! There is also local on street parking which is free on weekends!
The paddling pool is very well maintained and worth going there at least once. The problem for us is that especially on hot summer days it is very crowded. There should be more areas like this in London. In summer days it is a great joy for children. Playground: Many types of water throwing, a great joy for children. Restrooms: The toilets are present, only because it was crowded we had to stand in line to enter. Which is not exactly ok, especially if you have an emergency.
Love this small, but cute park in West London. It’s the perfect area for a quick stroll or break up a run from the city towards the scrubs. They are doing construction right now, but it’s still quite peaceful.
This park is amazing. The water feature is the best I've seen around London. It's spacious and has plenty of water things for kids of various sized and rhe park itself has a sandpit mama/papa and baby joint swings!
Incredible park, great for families. Super clean. Amazing free water park, small child playground, and large child/adult playground. Ninja warrior course, and many accessibility features. Lots of great green fields close by and 2 sets of bathrooms. Restrooms: One inside the water area and one just outside the playgrounds. Picnic area: Picnic area ight outside the playgrounds. They also have a refreshment shop with lunch items and ice cream.
One of the best parks in London. I have visited twice and both times, the park has been staffed and managed amazingly. There are so many facilities, and even when their main toilets are under construction - they have hired portable toilets! The waterpark can get a little crowded and chaotic but it’s expected when the sunshine is out, and with how great the park is; it makes sense that so many people would want to visit!
If you’re looking for somewhere in London to keep littlies entertained and cool that’s also budget friendly then this is the spot. I would say if the weather is glorious and it’s school holidays it’s wise to aim for the morning/lunchtime slot as coke the afternoon everyone has had the same idea and it can get rammed. I would suggest the best course of action is to aim for a lunch time slot Tue 12-2 get there at 10.30/11 let your little enjoy the play ground for a bit, stop for early lunch, hit the splash pad which you can probably wrap by 1.30 stop to refuel/dry off/warm up then head back in for the sandpit so you’re ready to head home by like 3/3.30
Great recreational experience. Family friendly. It has almost everything family and children could hope for to enjoy. Tfl Buses just stops outside the park. The park is divided into 4 areas: an open free jym, for pets walking area, a secured park for younger and disabled children and water fountain play and cool area for kids. It is a very nice place in warm weather.
It is closed until end of june 2023 This is my old review: Fantastic park. Alots of choice for the kids to play. There's a lovely small restaurant in there. Also The water area is fun . Highly recommend
