Can be a little overgrown from time to time in some parts. Otherwise this is a lovely green space with several walking paths some are shared with cyclists, gardens, a playground, a nice view and even a fountain. It can get very busy, especially on weekends! Loads of benches and picnic tables...
Lovely, clean , well maintained park, with well groomed gardens and grass areas. Very beautiful plants, great for a relaxing day at the park. It has plenty of space for running, strolling, walking a doh, picnics, etc. also plenty of benches and bins. There's a cafe as well, but I haven't visited it. The aviary is a lovely experience too Playground: The playground looks great, I didn't go on as I was childless on that day. Dog-friendliness: This park is dog friendly, there are bins around and there I plenty of space for dogs to run around and play. Picnic area: The picnic area is clean and well maintained, with picnic tables both in the sun and the shade.
The Nature Connection Centre just behind the Lodge Cafe is an amazing place open to all, children and adults. You can volunteer to help us with the garden or take part to one of the many free art workshops. Visit us during the weekends!
I'm sure the spring and summer look nice in the park. There is a random large cage full of birds. Not sure it's purpose but as we know it's 2024 not 1980. Birds shouldn't be caged. This is no conservation of an engaged species. If it's just for entertainment for children then this is a little cruel and sick. This needs removing. Cafe looks nice The public toilet was flooded in urine and stinks. The door doesn't lock either. Restrooms: No lock and disgusting. The whole floor was wet with urine Dog-friendliness: Dogs are allowed which is wonderful.
Beautiful Park . Very clean The trees from this park I think they are very old and is given you such an good energy I've seen some exotic birds in some cage, they should be free and to don't keep them in the cage. Free them !!!
The bowling green is a bit overgrown. The cafe isn't what it was. But this is nice piece of green near Harlesden that is ever so slowly coming back to life. Popular with yoga practitioners and dog walkers and children. An importatant n London resource.
That was very nice I had take my son to the fun fair there. The children had a nice time and had fun. They enjoyed a lot.
Great park with a great cafe, serving breakfast and lunch
Summer is coming and I’m lucky enough to live next to this beautiful park. Sunbathing, basketball, theme parks, skateboard, walking, cycling, little mountain to hike, picnics, kids park, and more. So gorgeous.
Every park itself is nice but it is really dangerous how people let their dogs especially large dogs run around freely when children and people are also in the park. I understand you trust your own dog but we don't know your dog! And all animals can behave unexpectedly especially if someone is scared/not trusting stranger dogs because they have bad experience just like me! The animal can attack those people because the dog can sense this. Many times, I was barked at by and almost bitten by dogs in English parks. It almost escalated. Some dogs are really-really kind and friendly, but you never know how your dog will behave with a stranger! I understand you want to let your dogs run around freely, but it can cost you a lot if it bites someone, and it is highly dangerous! Why don't you put your dog on an extendable dog lead? They can still enjoy rooming around like that, and everyone is safer and can enjoy the park. Now I have to avoid dogs all the time! And don't get me wrong I truly love all animals but still...I don't find this fair on other people!
