The Holland Park is very much amazing place to visit. It's very close to Holland Station a walking distance of 10-15 minutes. The Park is really Kids friendly in Nature. Can bring Pets over here. The Park is also a walking place. The presence of variety Birds make it really amazing to visit as well. One should visit this place if not visited.
The park is quite big, and the vibe of each part of the park is different. The area near Design Museum is a large open lawn good for playing different kinds of games/sports and for picnic. There’s a Japanese-style garden in the middle of the park. Feel like being in Japan but that’s a small area only. For the other area… can be better maintained… as there were no proper walking path and feel like the park is less being taken care of when compared to other large park in London.
Absolutely stunning park and gardens. The main attraction is the Kyoto gardens in the heart of the park. A Japanese twist in the centre of the park with a waterfall, lovely plants and flowers and a pond. The play area for children is very nice and there is a water fountain for kids to play with amongst other rides like the swings and a climbing frame. Definitely recommend in the area, especially so close to the centre of London.
The park is a ten-minute walk from Holland Park station. It is located in a high-market area with expensive homes and the locals are wealthy. The park is distinctly average in all manners with its features being small. The park is quite busy and seating can be difficult to acquire. It is quiet in parts but does get busy. There is a function building that holds events. It is a place to people watch more than anything, but it is not worth going out of your way to visit. It is famous for its Koyto garden, which is also an average experience. There are better parks to visit and this is a local park for locals.
Definitely worth a visit. The japanese garden was overcrowded and many spots were protected with ropes. A woman passed from the little lake’s stones with a super big luggage which was the strangest thing I’ve seen. Both of those facts overall made it feel a bit strange and not matching the rest of the park which was quite peaceful and beautiful. Make sure to wear athletic shoes as the park is relatively big. Worth a visit especially if you’re lucky and the weather is nice - preferably September!
Such a lovely park with many interesting features. The Kyoto Garden is peaceful and a wonderful place to sit, has a waterfall too. The park is 55 acres so you could spend the best part of a day walking around. There is a restaurant and a cafe selling drinks and gelato. Other features include the Dutch gardens, an adventure playground, tennis courts, the Ice House and sculptures dotted around. It really is worth a visit. The Design Museum is just outside the park so that could be included too.
It is one of the loveliest parks in central London. Easy reach with public transports. With woods and wildlife, pic nic tables, places where you can sunbath, and the relaxing Japan Gardens, with the occasional peacocks and herons. Perfect park for an easy walk, with or without dog.
Holland Park is a fantastic and relaxing natural space. The squirrels are definitely the star of the show along with the fish in Kyoto Garden. You can enjoy a pond, a fountain, a rocky waterfall, a maze-like bush space, a huge chess board to actually play, and several representative monuments. People also sit there for picnic near the sports field. Not too big a park when it comes to London but enough to spend a fantastic time.
It is one of the beautiful gardens that unfortunately is not visited by tourists. It is comfortable and suitable for families and singles, it has playgrounds for all ages, and it also has an educational center. I hope the officials take care of the toilets. Restrooms: Need to be kept cleaned.
Nice place for walk. A large park with a grove, sports facilities, a playground and a cafe, as well as a Japanese garden.
