This public recreation park is by River Thames located between the Blue Anchor/the Rutland Pubs and the Dove. It neither have a restrooms nor designated children playground but it has plenty of space for the little ones to have a lovely play. It's dog friendly, and very conducive for picnic. The pubs are easily accessible and both the Rutland and Blue Anchor serve beers on disposable glasses that you can take away and enjoy the lovely garden either alone or with others
Right next to the river, can use riverside benches if you don't want to sit in grass. Had some portaloos I'm the park, although there are also a couple of pubs on the river front you could pop into. Bins on riverfront for any picnic rubbish. Great place to watch the planes flying into Heathrow! About 5-10min walk from Hammersmith tube
Great location to be near the Thames and watch a boat race. Lovely pubs nearby as well!
Beautiful place to sit by the Thames and relax. You can walk all along Chiswick mall towards barnes. Beautiful walk with beautiful views of the Thames, and the stunning architecture of the houses along the way. Definitely worth stopping off at some of the pubs on route especially The Dove.
Cute little park next to the river. Has 2 pubs as well nearby where you can go to the toilet : Restrooms: You can go at the pub : Picnic area: Cute and quiet little area
In weekends on evening time this summer quite good place . there are some resto bars people enjoyed with their family & friends during evening sunsets.
Well kept park on the river within walking distance of the town centre. Dedicated children's area. Plenty of benches.
It's a nice little green surrounded by some lovely pubs from affordable to the nicer end. The dove is one of my favourites. The green has views of the river and Hammersmith bridge and if your lucky the boat club will be fumbling around to laugh at. Unfortunately as soon as the sun comes out the place gets packed which is why it's not a 5 star place, but hey that's just London.
Nice park. It gets busy when the sun is out. Not children friendly despite a small playground as there are a lot of people drinking and smoking weed around. Also a lot of broken bottles on Saturdays
Unfortunately it seems to attract the addicts – both alcohol and drugs. Other than that it’s a beautifully kept area right on the Thames with beautiful views of the might Hammersmith Bridge. It is bordered to the north by the Great West Rd and Hammersith Flyover so the noise and pollution from that steals some tranquility. If you fancy a drink pop to The Dove just tucked out of site to the west end of the Gardens down an unassuming alleyway.
