Went to open a current account and Sarah was very helpful and professional. She was to the point and explained my options. I have used this branch many times and she is undoubtedly one of the beat members of staff here. I was even permitted, due to undisclosed reasons, to use the W.C. Additionally she helped me with another account and this was a bonus in every sense of the word. Pecuniary advantage springs to mind. I would recommend this branch for all your financial requirements only to mention the convenient location and nearby free parking. This is one of the best things about this once lovely high street that had a lovely supermarket called Presto back in 1989. It's now Argos and Aldi.
Halifax website shows open 9am to 4pm for Bearwood branch. When I get there at 2.30pm, it's closed. Sign on the window shows open from 10am to 2pm. What is the point of having information on line that is not incorrect!
Do not use this branch for any mortgage applications or queries. Wouldn't send over my information to the mortgage team, or communicate with myself or the mortgage department. They do not answer the phones, which has lead to us no longer using Halifax to provide our mortgage/cancelling the application.
This is the first time I have visited this branch, it most certainly will not be the last. I was served by an Indian lady who was so professional and so good at her job. All other members of staff were equally as welcoming and nice. Good customer services across the board is becoming something that is rare but I am so impressed with this branch. Thank yo.

staff were very rude due to the fact that my accent is foreign and they tried to deny us for a BASIC CARD and yet online we were accepted within seconds after filling in everything
