Always very slow service, need to have more staff. Manager was not helpful at all just walking around chatting not helping cashiers. This branch needs updating with paying in machines this would easy a lot of customer frustration and save time all round.
We are currently in the middle of the COVID19 pandemic. Went to visit the branch as I was on the phone for 2 hours and couldn't speak to anyone. There was 1 person working the counter, a queue of 3 people inside the branch and a queue of approx 6 people outside the branch. I waited 35 minutes outside and only 1 person ahead of me had moved to the queue inside the bank. The branch is only open Monday- Wednesday 9am - 2pm. With everything that is going on and reduced opening hours, you would think they would have move staff working the counter. Today is Wednesday so will have to wait until Monday for the branch to reopen or travel to another branch further out! Appalling service!
This has to be one worst banks in terms off performance, the waiting times are ridiculous, just to pay in or simple tasks you be waiting average 45 minutes, they will have one cashier,and wont bother opening other desks Evan tho staff are there. When compared to my west bromwich building society account its totally different experience, they have 3 cashiers always on, plus there quick to deal with anything. This branch really needs to sort themselves out
Even though, Staffs are very friendly, professional and polite, this bank always gives me terrible experience during my visits most of the time. Very busy place and always 20-30 minutes I have to stand in the queue to get to the till to get my banking done. Have three till counter but always keep one counter open. Just saving money only instead of caring for the customers.
My friend went to this branch to withdraw money from his account and received discusting service from the advisor who was rude, rolled her eyes n refused to serve him coz he asked her " whats taking so long bab" she replied in a condesending tone " coz im doing my job". Who wouldnt get ticked off with that reply? She refused service as apparently he was being abusive and she wasnt having it. In all my years of banking with barclays this is the worst I've seen and considering changing banks because of the embarrasment we had.
1 hour in the queue while only one cashier on duty, if banks are going to close branches they should staff the ones they keep open
Reacently been Barclay Oldbury ,I had really bad experience,very poor and very unprofessional customer service from one of there advisors ranjot heer, very unprofessional,rough attitude and not willing to help and they don't care about there customer at all. Everything I asked from her she was not sure.avoid at all cost,
Worst bank in the West Midlands. 2 people behind the counter 100 waiting in the line 4 members of staff just waking around doing nothing.
Its has been a few years since I visited this branch I stopped using this place because of the long wait nuthin has changed from reading the reviews avoid.
Usually have to queue.staff helpful and friendly.
