Runway cycling always look after myself and my colleagues at Heathrow. I have purchased 2 bikes from them now and had both bikes serviced with them. Bikes have always come back in top shape with repairs being completed to a high standard, quickly and at fair prices. I have referred multiple friends and colleagues onto runway cycling and will continue to in the future. Although it’s not necessary to work for Heathrow to purchase from runway cycling, there are significant discounts to services if you are a Heathrow employee so it’s well worth it.
Runaway Cycling is an amazingly brilliant, welcoming and top of them all bike shop. I had to take my bike back to Australia after 6 weeks' cycling. My bike and I were treated with the highest of respect and care. Ian is a rare gem of a bike expert whose generosity and expertise combine to make him a must as one's bike mechanic. Very sadly, I live thousands of miles away so it will not be possible. Alfie replied to several emails that I sent while planning my trip. He could not do enough to help me. I am very grateful to both Alfie and Ian.
I came to get my bike fixed and Ian had fixed it in minutes and told me it was free or charge. Very good customer service, will definitely come here again.
Honest decent thorough kind hard working fairly priced cycling repair shop - come here - the gentleman explained what was wrong and allowed me to watch him repair my bike -explaining exactly what he was doing. Can not recommend enough Follow up - called them yesterday as I had a different problem and although the workshop was booked for a while up he talked me through a gear problem on the phone and I was able to fix it myself !
Ian and the team are freaking amazing!!! I have only had the best most friendly guys fix my bike repeatedly because I tend to use and abuse my bicycles frequently. The prices are so reasonable. They are always available and cheerful and are genuinely super skilled bicycle mechanics! Of the dozens of bike shops I have been to in London - this has to be the best ! No jokes and I’m not just saying that. I promise you you won’t be disappointed
Iain and the team are absolutely SUPERB!!! I can honestly say I haven’t experienced Customer Service like it before. They always go the extra mile and do everything they can to help solve issues and make sure you get the right product for your needs. Their knowledge is better than anywhere else I’ve been! If they don’t know the answer they’ll get it for you from their extensive contacts! I’ve had my cycle pretty much rebuilt here after an accident and I cannot fault one thing they’ve done. I cannot recommend this place enough!!!!!!!!!!
If you are heading out or coming in through Heathrow Airport then this is for-sure the goto place for your bicycle needs. Even if you didn't, they are worth the travel. The staff are friendly and competent and for me went beyond what was needed in order to assist. I highly recommend them.
Friendly, knowledgeable service from guys who really know what they’re doing. Kept in touch with what was needed and why. Happy to go back any time.
Very friendly team. We just had troubles to get to the shop from T2/T3 because the cycling lane in the tunnel is closed for some reason. The only way to get there is cycling from T5, which is a 20 minutes ride. They then give you a free ticket for the bus and your bike box, which takes you back to your departure terminal.
Everyone we met at Runway Cycling was wonderful. We stored our bikes there for a week and used their boxing and building services as well. They were helpful answering questions via email before our trip. It was seamless working with them and our bikes were built quickly, ready for our arrival including our racks and bikepacking gear. They recognized us when we came back a few days later and went completely above and beyond to help us.
