Bought my partners engagement ring here a couple of weeks ago, the ring itself was beautiful and well priced. Although I had a few issues when it came to sizing. I told the lady I wanted an L but not being familiar with ring sizes she convinced me to buy an N, she kept telling me my partners fingers will swell or something. On finally proposing the ring was like a hoola-hoop on my partner which is disappointing seeing as I knew the correct size and was convinced otherwise. I then brought the ring back into the store where I was told I had to wait two weeks to get the proper size delivered which I did. I came back two weeks later to be told then that it hadn't come in yet that it might be in the following day. I came the following day again and was again being told it wasn't in, by one member of staff who seemed a bit complacent about my concern before she was interrupted by another staff member who explained that she saw the ring that morning. It became a bit of a verbal tennis match with one staff member convinced it was the there and the other believing the opposite. She finally went to check after all of the debacle to find it was there. I finally managed to get my ring after a two week pain in the rear to a happy fiancée. As I said the ring is amazing but the trouble was unnecessary and at times unprofessionally handed. If your going to argue over a ring that I'm financially invested in please don't do it Infront of me.
I went into their store to purchase a watch and having looked at all on display I picked a bulova priced at €170 down from €340 I tried it for size and the girl explained there was a further 20% off all sale items that day I agreed to purchase it and asked for 6 links out of the bracelet and was brought up to pay and was told it was €675 No explanation as to why and was told they couldn’t possibly honour the price displayed but that the manager would ring me . I waited until the following Friday and rang myself for the third time after no response all week finally on Monday I was informed the best offer was 20% off the €675 price . I have been shopping in the store since it’s opening in Liffey valley and if they can no longer honour their displayed prices I won’t be shopping there in the future. Very poor customer service and regular custom is not even recognised in this store . I would advise anyone shopping here to get the item scanned on the till before believing the prices on display or you could well end up in an embarrassing situation like I did
Good choice of Jewelry however noticed that, gold items go dark after some time bought gold earrings that went dark and lost shine after 3 weeks of wearing so not sure if gold is good quality cost 110 euro so wasn't cheap. Not sure about higher price range items however a huge choice of engagement rings and watches. Staff are lovely and very helpful so 3 stars.
Bought a bracelet here but it was too big. Went back in and an extremely helpful staff member very patiently helped us choose a replacement. 10/10 for customer service. Lost one star as we felt stock was a little sparse.
Love the watchs when on sale, unfortunately wasn't great experience on Saturday unfortunately watch was damaged by transferring from store to store. When picking up I noticed. Lovely staff and very helpful, will always buy from them. Cheapest jewelry store in Ireland
bought on watch in your store at Liffey Valley shopping center. I paid 50 euros more at the price marked on your site. I asked your manager why and he said the problem is taxes. I contacted your customer service and they said that the price difference is at the discretion of the store. All this is unprofessional, do you sell the same products at different prices ???? never buy from you again. To be avoided. H. Samuel Answer: Dear Agatino, Thank you for your feedback. Our online prices are in pounds and not in Euros and so there would be a price difference. Thank you H Samuel Customer Care I do not think so. the price on your website is 225 pounds which with the current exchange rate is about 250 euros. your answer shows once again your lack of professionalism. compliments Update: they sent me an email with which they guaranteed me a refund of 30 euros, since I paid 50 euros more for the watch at their shop in liffey valley than the price of their website. I replied that given the restrictions due to covid 19 I could not go to their shop and if I could have the refund directly to my current account. well after about a month I didn't get any response. I have sent several reminder emails but without their reply. This umpteenth bad customer care demonstrates their lack of professionalism.
Stood in the shop for about 15 minutes waiting for a sales assistant, eventually we got her attention and asked could we get a ring resized, she said she would be with us in a minute, went to the manager and told us to come back later because they are too busy.
Big selection of jewellery, beautiful pieces and very competitive prices. We got very well looked after by Shauna who was very patient and lovely while we were deciding which ring to pick.
H. Samuel has a lot of beautiful jewellery and at very competitive prices. They always have great offers in store and the staff are always so helpful and polite. Really like shopping here.
Getting a repair done on a ring,only 2 staff on and the girl I got didn't know what she was doing.had to keep asking the other girl what to do,in fairness the other girl was great but staff training is badly needed and more staff to cope with customers. pj
