While wandering around aimlessly, I was lucky enough to stumble upon Zizzi and experienced an unforgettable delight in both taste and service. First and foremost, I must rave about their pizza—it’s a feast for the taste buds! Every bite is so marvelous, allowing you to savor the freshness and high quality of each ingredient. The toppings are paired perfectly, and the pizza is baked to perfection with a crust that's crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, making every bite a surprise. Beyond the cuisine, the service at Zizzi is top-notch. The staff are all incredibly friendly and welcoming, ensuring every guest feels right at home. They are well-versed in every item on the menu, ready to answer any questions, and provided excellent recommendations.
There is a million better places to go in Leeds! Its over priced and over rated. The server we got was soo bad. Besides sitting us down and taking drinks once he never came back. Not ever. Even to bring the bill! We had to grab a person, not serving our area, walking passed just to take our order. Food came out and plates weren't cleared. So the main came and our taboe was full. Was never asked how it was to mention issues. Didnt come back for more drinks. We only saw the young boy who clears tables. The price of the food which is either really good or really bad no consistency is far too high for what it is. The manager actually came and spoke to us at the end and gave us a discount, which was appreciated, but I'd still rather of gone and spent my money literally anywhere else! Starters: Garlic bomb - was delicious. Really sweet and savoury. Stunning Creamy mushrooms- vile. Had burnt had bread. Parts were warm and parts stone cold. Just sloppy cold mushrooms. Main: Salami pizza- not good at all. It was wet and soggy in parts. Carbonara- was incredible. Really creamy and delicious The food was very inconsistent on what was nice and what wasnt. Strange Parking: Q-Park available in the light, charges apply though
Waitress was so lovely and made us feel so welcome. Food was delicious, didn’t take long for the food to arrive at all. All round a good meal.Food: 5/5
The atmosphere was decent, staff was nice. Ordered this lasagne with breadcrumbs but it was quite burnt and not very nice. Super hot which is good but the crumble really doesn't belong on it in my opinion, especially if it's burnt. The lasagne underneath was okay but nothing special. Good atmosphere and ok staff though Parking: Doesn't have its own parking but you could find it generally in Leeds, may be expensive though Wheelchair accessibility: It's pretty much all flat so you should be fine
I don't normally enjoy chains but the food here was really great, and the service really warm. We had a Red Letter Day experience which was an absolute pain to organise with Red Letter but the manager Jas really helped us out and transformed what would have otherwise been a very annoying experience through no fault of Zizzi's.
We love Zizzi, the food is always consistent, and the service is friendly and helpful. Thank you Emma and Rowan. They also have great vegan options. Dietary restrictions: Options available for gluten free, veggie and vegan. Kid-friendliness: Children's menu is great.
Mixed views on this chain. The venue itself was lovely and had a relaxed yet lively ambience too it. Our waiter and all the staff were really accommodating and polite and service was quick. The food however was really expensive for the quality !! £17.50 for pasta see photo which was watery and some of the pasta was slightly hard beef Ragu. The food did not match the price tag. Thankfully I had a voucher to use so I didn’t need to use my own money. Because of the price and average quality of food I wouldn’t come again:
the waitress was very lovely and sweet, the food was delicious, i ordered a salad with some loaded bolognese chips on the side and it was scrumptious :Food: 5/5
Zizzi is a very stylish restaurant that seems to have a Italian twist on a tapas menu. It was relatively quiet when we were seated but seemed to pick up throughout the meal around 3pm. We were seated very promptly and it appears you get a free bowl of pasta crisps. They were a nice aperitif while we waited for our drinks and food to arrive. The atmosphere was very modern and aesthetically pleasing with different effects lighting and style going around. I’ve never been to this place before but it was a nice change of pace as it was really enjoyable and the food was delicious. The only gripe I had was the price was a bit steep for what they’re asking for. It’s very similar to Bella Italia in the sense that they charge around £15 for a pizza or pasta dish. This was made bearable by the fact we got a free garlic bread starter by signing up for their loyalty program ‘Zillionaires’. There was a miscommunication about the blue light card discount, but considering we got the free garlic bread it wasn’t too much to worry about. The servers were outstandingly generous and nice throughout our visit and really make it an enjoyable experience. My fiancée and I left feeling super satisfied and satiated. They also had a tantalising dessert menu which we almost indulged in but left due to time constraints elsewhere. I highly recommend this establishment, the price can be relatively steep for some so treating this as an occasional trip would be ideal. Also setting up the loyalty points is a must as you can save a copious amount of money this way and also get the free garlic bread. Overall, amazing trip here. From the staff to the food it was ticking all the boxes and I’m already salivating excited to return for another crack at the menu! Dietary restrictions: They ask for allergies at the start which helps. Also can ask them about any diet restrictions you have.
Never been before. Had a fabulous meal. Food beautiful. Children loved it too. Our server was brilliant. His name was Jacob in Leeds in the light. So thank you to him. He helped us through all the options brilliantly.Food: 5/5
