If you like Indian food and want to try different spices at a very good price. Food is rich and you will leave satisfied and happy to have tasted something different, disguised under normal "curry"
Finally found a decent restaurant, but even better a delivery worth waiting for. Ordered a vindaloo, was surprisingly pleased that it had a great flavour as well as heat. It arrived within the stated time and was still piping hot. Will not be disappointed to a visit to this curry house
One of our favorite restaurants! The portions are great as is the service. We have never had a dude meal and always book and take our friends along. They cater to dietary needs and offer a great selection for vegetarian and vegan as well as those who like meat and fish.
First off, I'm going to say that the food here is excellent, I wasn't sure what to expect and am not vegetarian but we all agreed that the vegetarian meals just pipped the others but the others were very good. Unfortunately, at our visit they appeared to have a bit of a melt down. They had a temporary waiter in the day we went. They ran out of some wines and all the beer. The service was appalling slow. The problem appeared to be the high number of food delivery bikes taking out take aways which was obviously their priority. It is also indicative of how popular the food is. I'd strongly suggest the take out option but if you're in absolutely no hurry and I mean no hurry sit in. Would I use them again? Yes, most definitely.
I don't use to write such a bad review, however they gave me no choice. I have never had such a long and mediocre experience in a restaurant. We sat at 7.30pm and the restaurant was nearly empty. After a while we ordered 2 starters and 5 main courses. The starters arrived in 20 minutes and the rest of the food at 9.40 when we were nearly leaving the restaurant after have asked few times about our order. The food was OK. Expect my order who was wrong. I received something like peas and zucchini when I asked for a mix grill. They brought me another one which was supposed to go to another table. The meat and the fish was dried and not so tasty. We ate everything because we were really starving at that point but I actually didn't finish mine, so I shared with my friends who agreed with me about the quality. We paid our bill and after that we said we should have been entitled to have a discount. The answer was that the service charged hadn't been added because of that. The service charge is optional and, of course, we weren't willing to pay for that. A discount and an apology would have been very kind and shown some respect for the customers. Inconveniences happen but the attitude was unacceptable. Please don't go. Ps:the table behind us waited 2 hrs as well, the table in our right was out in 20 minutes. Basically, everything is randomly served.
Ive been twice now and the food is absolutely delicious . Very freshly made with quality ingredients. Very friendly staff. A pleasant atmosphere and good value for money. Great curry. Top marks.
Always a good meal here. Dine in is much better than delivery but that's true for most places. They're knowledgeable about their food and dietary requirements. They're excellent on adapting for diets, particularly making items for vegans and in my case excluding mint due to allergy on request. Highly recommended.
Went tonight with my daughter for dinner was very disappointing. When we walked in no smile or friendly greeting, started out good but went rapidly down hill, I ordered the prawns and got 6 burnt prawns with a wilted salad and tomato ketchup for nearly £11.00 when I questioned this I was told that is how it comes the beer was standard and overpriced and we were ignored by the waiting staff. When the bill came I told the waiter that I will not be paying the service charge as I felt the service was bad it then developed into an argument with me being told "no, no you must pay it" the guy took my card from me out of my hand and kept hold of it until I snatched it back and told him I will not pay anything for this behaviour he became rude and aggressive and I still had to pay nearly £50.00 for this very poor meal. Will definitely not be going back as the service was the worse I've ever encountered, especially from a local restaurant I also feel extremely insulted as my grandfather actually fought alongside the Gurkhas and this is not the hospitality that my grandfather spoke of from the Nepalese region.
We went for my brother's 18th birthday, and we had a fantastic experience. The staff were friendly and attentive towards our needs. The food was delicious! I particularly recommend the Nepalese Dhansak, very authentic food and reasonably priced. Nice atmosphere too.
The food is actually really good, best around Crystal Palace. However today it took over 2 hours to be ready and then we were missing a few dishes. Luckily we live closeby and were able to collect these. Honestly it’s such a shame about service, but the food really is spectacular.
