Definitely a good place to eat south Indian food. The prices are very affordable as well. One can do breakfast as well as lunch/dinner without getting broke The place can overall be more clean and hygienic. Buffet has food remains fallen around lying open for a long time.
First experience with Chennai Dosa. Delicious food, friendly staff, average but non clustered ambience. Highly recommended. We ordered ghee masala dosa, chicken masala dosa, onion rava chicken dosa with chicken gravy, mixed noodles, porotta with chicken chukka and kothu porotta. Dinner for 6. The food was awesome and tummy filling. Enjoyed every dish to the core except chicken chukka. It was not what we expected. But having said that, we enjoyed the dinner and ended up with a nice cardamom tea which was the best part of the meal. I hope to visit again if possible.
Completely fulfilling food at incredibly affordable prices. Very happy experience; incredible food, lots of great vegetarian options, very cheap prices for quick meals, tiffins and even buffets, and lovely service with friendly staff. Really enjoyed. Awesome South Indian restaurant. I would like to extra thank our waitress Sneha for her service. Vegetarian options: This restaurant totally accomodates for vegetarians; the menu is well organised and seperates "veg" and "non-veg" sections. Kid-friendliness: It is really welcoming for large family meals and there is even a big pointy "kids dosa" option. Dietary restrictions: The meat served here is halal.
We went with great expectation to taste South Indian food . But it was below average experience with food and service . We tried the buffet and some dishes outside the buffet . Unfortunately it was bad . Coffee was also not up to the standard. Good luck for a better experience !
Never been to Dirty restaurant like this. Unprofessional staffs, really rude and not even the basics of Customer handling. Please don’t ask me about the food, such bad poor quality food. Honestly saying it’s better avoid such a dirty restaurant for financial and health reasons.
I read a lot of complain, I am not Indian so I don't know about south Indian cousine. I found the staff very polite and welcoming. Mango Lasso was very good, one of the best in London. My kingfish was on average noy sure how fresh it was. Some chutneys were definetly amazing, I loved them! But what I loved most was the chili paneer, I found out of this world!
Good, affordable food that tastes like home. Can definitely recommend the dosa. Can't comment on the buffet but dinner service was super speedy make of that what you will in terms of freshness and staff were very kind and welcoming. Think the portion sizes for chutneys were actually quite good as oftentimes excessively generous portions just end up as food waste. Good range of chutneys 4 "dips" in total for the dosas too!
Excellent tasting South Indian tamil food. Enjoyed the dishes served. Tasty and hot chicken 65 Minus points Curry served with biryani not sufficient. Less than quarter cup. Disappointed Biryani chicken pieces seem to have been taken from another gravy dishes. Mostly chetinad chicken or some other dishes. Kothu parota seem to have been blended not done the traditional way.
Had medu vadai and tea , it was good. They have enough quantity of chutney and Sambar. Good and reasonable prices.Recommended dishesUzhunnu Vada
They serve veg and non veg delicacies in East Ham , London. It was started in 1962 and since then they have been serving people with Indian food with a variety like south Indian, North Indian , Chinese and even buffet lunch and breakfast options .Food: 5/5
