This restaurant has recently been upgraded from just a take away and the owners are making a really great job of it. The service is friendly and genuine our waiter helped us choose some dishes to suit our tastes. We had vegetable samosa and prawn Puri for starters and Lamb bunah and Chicken passanda for mains with Peshwari nann and pilau rice. Everything was freshly cooked and really tasty. We even had a mango lassi which wasn't on the menu. This one is a bit off the main Lordship lane stretch but well worth a visit for a curry in a cosy atmosphere.
Had a delicious meal of King Prawn Jaffrane and a peshwari naan. The prawn curry was really tasty. Did a collection and only had to wait a short while and the man who took my order was very friendly. Will go back again.
We've tried pretty much every Indian takeaway within a 3 mile radius during the pandemic, hoping to find a gem, and this is it. Ordered twice in the last couple of weeks, and the food was perfect each time. Quick delivery too. Hoping they stay consistent, as we've found our go-to curry place. Properly outstanding.
Lovely service and food. The delivery was extremely fast and friendly. The Saag was great. Super deep flavour and really well seasoned. Naga chicken could have been hotter but it had a delicious dry spice. Also free chutneys and kachumber always makes me feel like a place cares. Best tarka daal I've had in the area too
WORST food I have had in a long time. The flavours are awful! Overpowering garlic, bland curry. Cold bread and stale poppadoms. Plus the mint dip was open and covered the entire contents of the bag on arrival! Not good.. Never eating from here again! 4/5 of this is in the bin.
I had a delicious lamb narangi masala curry with a peshwari naan. Even though the narangi is described in the menu as ‘hot orange’ it wasn’t at all spicy but was more rich and creamy so the description is not correct but this was perfect as I did not want a hot curry. I ordered in person and the man was very friendly, added some raita and even a popadom and my food was ready quickly.
A local Indian delight! This was our first time ordering from Spice Republic and we were pleased with our order. Generous portions, tasty and fresh salads. Yum! Friendly customer services and quick delivery. Sorry, don't know how to leave a review on Foodhub!
Been ordering here since i moved to London 8 months ago. Perfect everytime. Very succulent meat and full of flavour, thick sauce - non oily.
