A group 4 of us went here due to good reviews from friends and online reviews. However, we arrived at 8pm on Friday and didn’t receive menus until 8.35pm. Whilst we received poppadoms, they arrived with minimal dips mango, onion salad and lime pickle; see pic. The pickles, poppadoms were not replenished without asking. The table next to us also complained about the length of time it was taking. I had to get up to find my own menu, to request more sauces for the poppadoms and to order wine. It took an hour to order our main course. Only having two people serving clearly hindered service. I have honestly never received slower service.
The food in this place is pretty good, but the service is poor. They prioritise takeaways and get easily caught out if there are more than three or four tables of people in the restaurant. Just had to walk out because food was taking far too long to arrive. Noticed that people were having to remind the waiters about drinks and food orders. Never a good look for a restaurant. I’m very local to the restaurant and love Indian food, but I won’t be going here again. Shame.
Great little curry house. Service is efficient and food super tasty. Great value too - two courses plus poppadoms and a bottle of wine came to £60 including tip!
Just moved to the area and I am so thrilled to have an amazing Indian restaurant so close. The food is fresh and delicious, I cannot praise it highly enough. Their chicken tikka masala is wonderful and from all the curries I have seen from here they are never oily so the flavours are amazing. Also, love the mango chutney!
So pleased we tried this place for a takeaway! We ordered loads but our favourite things were the tikka masala, coconut rice and peshwari naan. All delicious and ready for pick-up in no time at all. Would definitely recommend and will 100% go back again.
Exceptional good tasting cuisine along with first class hospitality & service set in a lovely relaxed surrounding. Have been coming here for years HIGHLY RECOMMENDABLE establishment.
Booked a table here for my partners Birthday, a lovely restaurant, could not of picked anywhere better, would come again very soon, service was great!
Foods good but service poor. Manager lent across people to clear the table anddid this whilst my daughter was still eating.
Chandni is one of the best restaurants i've ever been to. We go every weekend. The food is delicious, the service is fantastic and fast.
yesterday i went to Chandni restaurant in Dulwich. The food was absolutely amazing. The service was fantastic and the chicken harialy was delicious, and they had a lovely cocktail.
