I can see why this place has 4.7 on Deliveroo at the time of writing. I had an excellent experience: The food arrived quickly It was piping hot and well packaged It was probably the best Chicken Dhansak I’ve had Only one experience, but my first was positive and I will be going back.
An underwhelming experience. Having lived in Leicester which boasts some of the finest Indian cuisine in the UK, after ordering a clearly microwaved meal from here, I got a touch of the runs! Never happened before. Won't be ordering again!
Totally bland and underwhelming. Ok I have higher standards having lived in India for 3.5 years but I still want taste in my food. Butter chicken had no resemblance to any murgh makanwala I’ve ever had they used chicken breast rather than the tastier thighs. The daal makhani was not the rich, long cooked dish I expect - it was green for a start rather than the rich dark orange - I’ve had better from a boil in the bag from my local Indian supermarket. The naan were the traditional thick English breads which I should have guessed. The lamb bhuna was watery. But it was delivered on time and warm by Deliveroo. My search for an authentic Indian takeaway goes on.
After ordering from here on just eat, was over an hour late. Food was cold, ordered a mixed grill that was not cheap! Bit into some chicken tikka which was extremely chewy and taste funny. Looked inside completely pink and raw. Complained and sent a picture to just eat who have still not refunded me. Stay away from this place unless you want to get seriously ill.
I received good service from the person answering the phone to take my order to delivery person. Food delivered was within timescales promised but was only warm and not hot hence 4 not 5 stars. The food was really good with crisp poppadom and thick flavoursome chutneys. The naan was good too although again it was just about warm. The chicken madras was very good indeed once I had microwaved it for a minute, full of flavour and really good quality chicken and other ingredients. Will def use these guys again.
Our usual Indian takeaway location. Food tastes really good. We usually order lamb bhuna and lamb biryani. Both 5/5
I ordered herefor the first time after driving past on so many occasions and after so many people had recommended it. My goodness, I've been missing out. This is now my go to Indian. I flirted with many over-priced and ridiculous takeaways, but this is at another level. The other thing which delighted me was that they were fastidious with my requirements.Indian food is friendly in that respect but sometimes the restaurant is not entirely trustworthy. Here they went the extra mile. Debated reviewing because we want to keep it all to ourselves! We 'd go back in a heartbeat.
Ordered through Deliveroo and have been for a while. Unfortunately quality has been going down hill for a while but this time it wasn’t just quality it was also a very ungenerous portion, this will be my last time ordering from here. Very mean small portion of tandoori prawns - 4 prawns for £14! Served on a bed of soggy uncooked onions and peppers. And they didn’t even taste of much either!! What a rip off! And popadom was a bit stale and not crispy. Called to complain and they didn’t care at all. Won’t come back.
Fantastic Indian takeaway in south west London the best I’ve found in Balham area . Have been ordering since 5 yrs and have not been disappointed with the food quality and the portions as well as very friendly and helpful staff . They do get buzy on weekends but still delivered food on give time between 30-40 mins . Highly recommended.
