A gem of Clapham, serving the best takeaway Indian cuisine. I've been coming here every week for the past 7-8 years, during which I've seen 4 chefs come and go, but the friendly management team have remained stalwart. Each chef imparts their own style, the latest seeing Cumin Club enter its finest iteration, with fragrant tricolour pilau, real tandoor-fired naan and consistently rich curry bases. My personal favourite can no longer be found on the menu, but the little-known Shatkora can be made on special request -- a Bengali citrus fruit with a unique flavour unlike any citrus fruits found in the West. Highly recommended. Pictured are the Shatkora dark and Murgh bright dishes with pilau rice, well-fired garlic naan and a poppadom.
Friend had recommend me to this takeaway. And he was right, they have so.ething good going on here. I ordered the chicken dansak which was cooked perfectly. Just the right spice. The chana sag was also great, not over flowing in oil and curry. Moist so I could still taste the spinish. Will definitely try again
Their lamb vindaloo is spectacular. Easily the best I've had in London and it should be their signature dish. Good garlic naan. Some of the other dishes are a bit too sweet / creamy for my tastes but the menu makes it clear which these are. The guys always seem nice too. Recommend: Vindaloo Dansak Onion Bhaji
This is the Best vindaloo in the area I have found. They use the aromatic cardamon spice in the sauce unlike other place I have tried which is just chilli heat with no flavour.
Honestly could be challenging for best curry in London! Breathtakingly good food.Recommended dishesRogan
I had a great meal from Cumin Club tonight. Was passing by with few friends and just had the munchies. We ordered mild as well as hot dishes with rice and bread. Everything was good and the tastes in the dishes was very good and high standards. Will try again
Brilliant small takeaway. Ordered for 9 people for certain time. Food came hot and was given complimentary dishes too. The spice was perfect and you can really taste the Indian flavours. My favourite Indian takeaway by a mile
Friendly staff, but wasn't impressed with the food... Bland and lacking spice.Food: 1/5
The best Indian. Reliable, great service, delicious food.
Really disappointing take away after reading good reviews! Samosas very greasy and ‘doughy’. Lamb in rogan josh over cooked and sauce rather tasteless. Prawn mango curry tasted more like a cocktail than curry. I expected it to be sweet but it was inedible sicky sweet. Aubergine curry greasy and tasteless. Very disappointed.
