Perfect park for a dog walk, with so much variety! From woodlands to beautiful flower gardens, streams and lots of places to get muddy. There’s even an animal park so your dog can get to know what alpacas and sheep look like too!
Great local petting farm run by local volunteers.nnWild number of animals including, sheep, goats, pigs, lamas, horses, ponies, chickens and guinea pigs.nnFree to enter with recommend donation.nnChildren have enjoyed feed the lab experience.
Nice cafe in the centre, and a pleasant walk through to Norton church etc.
Lovely park with lots of wide open areas to exercise dogs. The Animal Park is also well worth a visit if you have young children.nIdeal for bringing along your own picnic on warm summer days, where you can relax on the large expanses of grassed areas. Has a nice dog friendly cafe, The Duke of Roses, which offers a good variety of hot and cold food and drinks. They also cater for various dietary requirements. The gluten free muffins are gorgeous :-.
I visited Graves Park for the Race for Life and was impressed by how well it handled a large event. The park is big, with rolling open spaces and wooded areas-ideal for walking, running, or just getting some fresh air. There's also a small animal farm and a playground, making it good for families.nnIt's a practical venue for community events like Race for Life, with decent parking and plenty of space for crowds. Overall, a good green space with a bit of everything.
