Large park with great kid's play area. It has ponds with ducks and a free farm. Excellent food on offer at the cafe for a reasonable price. There's parking available as well as public toilets. Excellent day out for kids.

You do have to pay for parking, but there is sometimes room on the outer of the park. Small petting Farm located next to the carpark. Aches of land great for a good long walk. We often head into the wooded area past the duck pond to get a bit muddy. Then if you fancy there is a tea rooms and play area for the children. Which is full of different types of outdoor toys, including a sand area and play diggers. My children love it here.

Graves Park is always one of my favourite parts of Sheffield situated on the south side of the city and close to the Derbyshire border. The park is the largest park in the city with lots of walking areas to enjoy. The animal farm is one of the best in Yorkshire for the public to attend. The Rose Garden Cafe is very popular also for snacks and iced creams in the summer. The lake areas are always full of ducks and geese. Up towards the big estate house the field are full of pure highland cattle and sheep from the farm. And during the spring and summer it isn't uncommon to witness births in the fields. There are also other areas around the park to enjoy, football fields to have a kick around for the kids. In the summer a local cricket club uses a part of the ground and there are paying tennis courts and mini golf course up on the Meadowhead side of the park.

Amazing, sprawling, city park. An Oasis in the suburbs. Varied and beautiful with regular events, great playgrounds and a good cafe. The animal farm is a real bonus, you can even hold some of the smaller animals on some days well worth a visit if you are a local or just visiting

It has everything you would want from a park. Free parking and paid parking depending which side you enter, big open grassy areas, ponds and wildlife, a cafe serving food and drink and a rose garden, play grounds for the children and an animal park. At times there are shows or fairs set up too depending on the time of year.
