Excellent venue for a friends wedding. Views are stunning ! Really clean and tidy. Staff were amazing and the downstairs bar/function room was great. Beer was lovely. Hope to be back again !
Visited the lounge bar today with my parents for lunch. The venue was highly recommended by my mother who had eaten there on many occasions however today that was not the case . We ordered two soups and a turkey sandwich and teas . The sandwich was inedible tasting awful from the heating process of creating a panini ....some fillings should just not be reheated ..I also tried the sandwich as my mother was unable to eat it and it was very unpleasant. I knew my mother would not complain but as the lunch had been her treat I spoke to the barman . He was very pleasant and thanked me for bringing the issue to the attention of staff and he would mention it in the kitchen . However not one member of staff approached my parents with any authority to provide her with another meal or issue a refund or make it clear she could order another meal with no extra charge . I feel that in these days a treat of eating out should be a positive experiences and food should reflect the prices . As pensioners my parents can ill afford to waste their money but we will not be returning to The Grand any time soon! Monday 16th January 2.00 pm to 3.00pm
Visited for a wedding, the place is beautiful, the rooms are amazing, well kept, modern and clean. The only downside is the price of drinks but I didn't expect anything different and wouldn't change review based on that one thing.Rooms: 5/5
My friend and I visited the Grand Hotel this afternoon. It's years since I've been. The Hotel looks like it's had a total refurb, very fresh, clean with beautiful decor. We both had the scones with strawberry jam and of course it has to be clotted cream. Absolutely delicious. I had a biscoff latte, which was very tasty. The staff were great, one in particular, a lovely young man called Cameron. He was friendly and efficient, a credit to himself and the Hotel..
Went yesterday for afternoon tea. We had gift token with the value of £70. Afternoon tea consisted of two tiny sandwiches, one scone and two shop bought small cakes for £25 pp. I asked for coffee, which was extra. Had afternoon tea and there was around £15 left on our gift voucher, when we asked for the money or voucher to the value they became very defensive and said no money/voucher back. With a young girl on reception being Very rude. Safe to say we will never visit again
Very good afternoon tea in the morning. Staff were super friendly. Scones lovely and moist. Sandwiches were high quality.

A truly timeless classic brittish hotel. Excellent helpful friendly staff. The perfect location overlooking the beach. We love it here. Rooms: We stayed in a well appointed family woth the most amazing view of the sea and longsands beach.
A beautiful old hotel. We went with friends for Sunday lunch and weren't disappointed. After our lunch we wandered into the lounge bar for a coffee and a chat in a lovely room with great sea views....Very friendly and helpful staff.
Went for Christmas afternoon tea. Good mix of sweet and savoury with some interesting little twists which made it stand out from others. Good service and lovely setting. Value for moneyService: 5/5
