Stayed many times before. The welcome on arrival was lovely. Room was comfortable and breakfast was delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back again

I stayed here for couple of weeks last summer and now for few days in the middle of November. I wanted to give highest rating to this guesthouse however I has to remove one star. If you stay in cold season hot water on high floor is not hot enough but rather warmish. I had to run water for about 20 mins intil it become more or less comfortable to take a shower.
Other than that the place is excellent. Its location is just few minutes away from downtown and few steps from gorgeous "Little haven" - park and beach promenae. Along lovely seaside you can walk for hours and hours enjoying fresh sea breeze and picturesque views of coastline with gorgeous lighthouse. Another attraction "Arbeia" ancient Roman site is just 3 mins away.
Rooms in guesthouse are nicely decorated either single ones or family suites. Complimentary English breakfast can be added by any delicacies of your choice. The service is really personalized thanks to hosts Gill and Ellen who treated me like a relative rather than a tourist.  I highly recommend this place to stay to all kind of travellers. You won't regret!
