As an ex-employee, I will say this is a beautiful hotel with excellent sea views, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, however in respect of management and ownership this is where it all goes downhill.
To own a building of this calibre, to assist in the care of prospective clients, to appreciate employees the owners need re-schooling, they don't have a clue.

Very cold public areas and bedrooms. Dining area like a school canteen. Food good. Wouldn't stay again until renovation is complete.

I attended for an 18th birthday and staff weren't particularly friendly, prices were fairly expensive, place was cold, men's toilet was broken and had to go use one far around. Cost of room was very expensive and the food was even worse.

Excellent hotel. Great staff who are very friendly and very nice people. Would definately  reccomend a stay.

Although the hotel was very clean and our room was great and recently decorated the rest of the hotel definitely needs a bit of a cuddle and bringing up to date. Nothing that can't be solved by updating carpets and a lick of paint. The location is great and right on the sea front. The breakfast could do with some attention though.
