We visited for the first time for some drinks with our friends. When we came on a Saturday afternoon it was fairly quiet. The service and ambiance was great. Good music, good decoration, a very good selection of food and drinks.

Food could be better. Fair enough for American themed pub cum restaurant. If you want excessively large portions, then this is your place. So is unlikely to be to everyone's taste due to that. They clearly had issues in the kitchen and couldn't handle serving our mid sized party of 20. Two orders for the mains both steaks were cold when they came out and had to be sent back. They also managed to burn one of the starters, by over grilling the nachos. Both mistakes were handled well by the staff, but really should not have happened in the first place. The half roast chickens were also very dry and could probably do with more wet sauce served with them or being less overcooked. Otherwise, a pleasant enough experience despite these problems.
Absolutely loved this place. Me and my mum were on a coach trip to see the Rolling Stones and stopped in Chelmsford for an hour. Parked up right outside so we thought we'd give it a go. Staff were really friendly, drinks were lovely and the food was really good. I had nachos and a Roy Rogers! Beautiful! All decked out for the World Cup too which was great and the decor is really interesting. Toilets were very clean which is always a bonus. Would definitely go again if I'm ever I'm the area. Also, not very expensive so we were really chuffed!
Went here for a work meal and thought it was very nice highly recommend the barbecue chicken it was to die for
Good food but the service is poor. It took the very very casual team who 'work' here a long while to seat us, serve us, and give us the bill. The 1 star was for the food alone. I wasn't asked once if I would like a drink refill, the waiter was too busy playing on the slot machine. We weren't offered condiments, and just felt like we would have been better off in a KFC. It's a shame, we came here because I've had really good experiences in the Basildon restaurant.
Staff were super nice and friendly. Although have not been trained to a standard they should. Which isn't their fault what so ever. Food came out reasonably quick. Select of beer was good. One burger we picked was cooked rare... We were not informed beforehand on menu or by staff. It's terribly unprofessional as it's still a health risk and should be an option for the faint hearted only.
Awful service, we actually felt very bad treated. Seriously I ever had such a bad timing in a restaurant. I went with my husband and son. The waitress bring the wrong food twice, we just gave up and said to her to don't worry and we took the food anyway. After carry on with our lunch she and the general manager took a sit on a table next to us where she started to complaining and speak very badly, blaming us for the order that she took wrong several times. We could heard everything... I never thought order a burger with sweet potatoes could be such a drama. We paid, and went to don't comeback. NEVER AGAIN!!! WORST SERVICE I EVER SAW!
Delicious food. Ely set the bar high - and I'm glad to say this place delivers, too. With a vibrant atmosphere and helpful staff, this family-friendly Bar & Grill serves a variety of tasty food and drink with music at an unintrusive volume level. I highly recommend the Grand Central Salad +/- chicken for those mean-keen salad eaters. The cheese and bacon potato bakes aren't half-baked either for a light side dish option. It's not the cheapest place to eat, but for a small company of some half-dozen branches, it's definitely among the tastiest.
The food here is OK. While I love the hot wings, the fried pickles are horrible, not enough batter to save the pickles from the fryer so they just taste like oil, and I think it's a rip off to be offered ketchup, mayonnaise or BBQ sauce when I've got my meal, bit be charged £1.50 for each! I've never seen or heard anything like that, it's not even on the menu. But the worst part is the service, I've been here multiple times but I've never not had an issue where the staff disappear, we asked for the dessert menu and the waiter left to get it never came back, so 15mins later I went looking for a member of staff, but the only staff member in the whole restaurant was a man making balloons for a child. I would have to call this place self serve.
