I visited the Hospital for an Endoscopy and it was amazing. It was clean and sterile. The nurses were knowledgable, friendly, helpful and just amazing overall. The doctor and consultant was amazing and really put you at ease. They made me a tea with biscuits and it was just perfect not that weird stuff with skin all over it. Overall best experience to date.

I was seen at the A and E on Sunday. I could not be more grateful for the care I got from the ECP who looked after me. I think his name is Francis M. He was empathic and compassionate towards me and ensured I was pain free before leaving. He ensured he got a referral for the specialist prior to me leaving the premises. Also the professionals at the X RAY department were very gentle and professional. Thank you so much for the care you provided.

Over the last month I have been looked after by staff at Queens, mostly the Cornflower B ward. I can not fault any of the staff, from the ladies serving my food to the surgeons and consultants, I had the absolute best care. I want to especially sing the praises of the nurses, I was going through something very emotional and traumatic and I was treated with so much compassion and care. The nurses were spectacular, always smiling and amazing bedside manners. I can’t find enough words to express how grateful I am for how everyone looked after me. Not all superheroes wear capes, most of them wear tunics or scrubs!

Neighbour had horrendous experience recently. Waited hours for tests in a corridor with no water or drink. Then the hospital lost the tests and he had to go through it again. Queens has had an awful reputation for decades in both this reincarnation and its previous one which was so appalling the place was demolished and expunged from history. No older person wants to go here as they fear they won’t come out alive: and the death would be painful and neglected. This may sound strong, unfair even, but it’s based on sad experience over decades. Avoid.

Terrible. Used to be good but since they changed the children and adult emergencies... wait is forever and when seen no real checks done, not even to take temperature. My child had a temperature and I was told to buy calpol from the petrol station. Had to clean vomit myself, I felt like I worked there... no drinks machine, no vending machine, no children’s entertainment like other places. No idea what was going on when asked simple questions. Such a shame they changed the system
