We came here on a cold day in Easter and still enjoyed the visit. Everyone was very friendly and the are a lot of interesting exhibits and animals. Seal feeding was good and well worth timing your visit around it. The meerkat feeding didn't happen on schedule and I'm not sure who was more disappointed us or the meerkats. We had lunch in the little cafe and did find it reasonably priced.

Very clearly passionate about animal welfare. Definitely more focussed on animal rehabilitation and care than on visitors which, is absolutely right and correct. Could do with more up to date information on the animals but this is not important, as the aim is not to be a visitor attraction only. The sanctuary has uts priorities in order. Clearly a work in progress, really deserves government support. It is sad that there is such a need for the sanctuary. 
A great shame that others visiting were not respectful to the beings living there - such a great opportunity for education and learning lost on many.

Small, but luckily not crowded. The seals are quite a sight. Our 1 and 5 y.o. kids liked it. The souvenir shop was a tad pricey. There's a huge beach right next to it, too, with golden sands, but it's very windy.

Great selection of animals. Good to see they put the seals back in the wild when they are better
