If you're staying in Looe take a stroll just out of town to this fantastic pub. Great food and a super friendly atmosphere. Our dinner was all really tasty and wonderfully presented. Great value for money too. Highly recommend!
Very warm welcome and excellent service. Really wanted to give 5 star but the roast dinner although honest, unpretentious and big portioned just fell short. Looks like a good pub for live music.
Had a great meal at The Globe Inn. The food was excellent and the although the sea food platter on the menu was for two people, they very kindly made up a platter for one for my wife. The rib-eye steak was very nice, and my daughter's tapas was delicious. Staff were very friendly and although there was quite a long wait for the food, it was worth it.
Friendly staff made us feel very welcome, super efficient too. Lovely food. Ordered 2 sharing platters - 1 meat & 1 fish also margherita pizza & puddings eton mess, brownie with ice cream & icecream sundae. Added bonus of a super friendly dog too. Thank you for making our last night in Cornwall a pleasure, we will return next year.
Ok for a drink would not get food there wasn't much on the menu, my lasagne was just mince meat with cheese on top. Full of flies in the pub, as I say nice for a drink but not food I'm afraid.
Love this friendly local in beautiful Looe. The landlady Anouska is do friendly and helpful and the rest of the staff are a great team. I had the seafood platter which was just the best I've tasted, clearly fresh locally sourced ingredients . Highly recommended
Dog and child friendly, good food was delicious and staff were very friendly. Kids pasta could so with a bit more flavour
Another return to The Globe and enjoyed the delights from the menu. Well done to the crew and thanks for feeding us with such good fare.
Everyone was very friendly and when my partner left his rod there by accident, I called and they were very helpful. Also the food it very tasty. Been back again and everyone is as usual very friendly and accommodating.
A really welcoming and truly great pub. Glad I booked as was busy at 6pm on a Wednesday!Service and genuine warmness was really appreciated with plenty of bants - this is why I love independent pubs. Food was spot on with generous portions and our daughters appreciated the hot staff Thanks for a lovely evening - will be in again on our next visit
